- Flame Tree Barbecue – This quick service offers BBQ items such as ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Seating is outdoors but covered. Watch out for the wild birds when dining, I have personally seen a bird steal food from a guest.
- Satu’li Canteen – After exploring Pandora – World of Avatar stop here for lunch or dinner. Entrees include Combination Bowl: Grilled Beef & Chicken, Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl, plus find a kids menu and more. Be sure to try one of the desserts, Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse or Chocolate Cake. Plenty of indoor seating.
Best Table-Service Restaurants
- Tiffins Restaurant – Did you know Anima Kingdom park is home is a fine dining experience? Visit for lunch or dinner at Discovery Island. For an appetizer consider the Tiffins Signature Bread Service or Selection of Artisanal Cheeses. Main Courses include the Chicken and Waffle, Surf & Turf and more. This eatery takes part in the Rivers of Light dining packages and the Festival of Lion King dining packages.
- Tusker House Restaurant – This Character dining is offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tip, book an 8am reservation, dine quickly and be among the first in line for your attraction of choice. Otherwise, allow up to 2 hours on average to enjoy your meal and Character interactions with Safari Donald and friends.
- Yak & Yeti Restaurant – This is a hidden gem of a sit-down eatery at Disney World. Found in Asia, near Expedition Everest, guests can dine in Nepalese-style restaurant with Asian flavors and a full bar. Try the Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Wonton Soup, grilled dishes and more, plus a kids menu. End with a dessert such as the Fried Wontons.
Best Dining Locations For Snacks
- Anandapur Ice Cream Truck – Stop by this colorful Ice Cream Truck for a Soft-serve Waffle Cone (go for a twist!) or a float with your choice of fountain beverage. Both are perfect on a hot Florida afternoon!
- Eight Spoon Café – Stop by for comfort food on Discovery Island. Snacks such as Baked Macaroni & Cheese (plain or add pulled pork or Shrimp & sweet chili cause) or a Mickey Pretzel with cheese sauce.
- Pongu Pongu – For outer worldly snack & drink, Pongu Pongu is a must experience. Try the Pongu Lumpia (Pineapple Cream Cheese Spring Roll). The unique drink to try is a non-alcoholic beverage called the Night Blossom. Make it light up, in a Souvenir Mug with Glowing Unadelta Seed.
- Tamu Tamu Refreshments – This is your Animal Kingdom location for a popular Disney treat, Pineapple DOLE WHIP Cup. Also consider the Malva Cake Sundae or a classic Mickey Ice Cream Sundae. Guests 21+ can try the Pineapple Dole Whip cup with rum or an African coffee and more.
