Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party occurs each year on select nights in November & December. Cost for 2018 tickets start at $95 for advanced purchase, and $105 at the gates (based on availability). Here are 10 things to do at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
1. Arrive Early
The party kicks off at 7pm (guests without a ticket will have to leave) however, guests with a ticket for event may enter the park as early as 4pm. This essentially gives party goers bonus hours in the park before the party even begins.
2. Watch Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration is a stage show with Mickey Mouse & Friends. Watch as characters such as: Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Alice & the White Rabbit and dance and perform over 12 songs in all. Look to Cinderella’s Castle for holiday illuminations.
3. Browse & Buy Exclusive Party Merchandise
During party nights guests will find exclusive merchandise, perfect for remembering your special night. Past exclusive merchandise has included: an exclusive Magic Band, pin set, apparel for adults & children and more. Photo above shows 2017 Party merchandise.
4. Eat Unlimited Cookies & Drink Hot Cocoa
At the Christmas Party unlimited cookies and hot chocolate are available for guests. These are available around the park at various locations. Stop as you please for more.
5. See Cinderella’s Castle Transformed
A Frozen Holiday Wish is a stage show featuring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. Watch A Frozen Holiday Wish on stage at Cinderella’s castle and see royal sisters, Anna & Elsa. Queen Elsa will transform the castle into a frozen wonderland.
6. Watch The Christmastime Parade
Once Upon a Christmastime Parade offers 2 showings at the party. Highlights include Gingerbread men, toy soldiers, classic character in their holiday apparel and Santa Claus himself. The second showing is usually less busy.
7. Watch Holiday Wishes
Enjoy Holiday Wishes at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Listen to holiday themed music and watch for Tinkerbell’s flight.
8. Take In The Holiday Decorations
While Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place, take time to appreciate the extra holiday decorations at the park. Magic Kingdom especially dresses up for the Christmas Season. Take photos in front of the giant Christmas Tree on Main St USA.
9. Meet Characters
Not only are Character meet & greets available, rare characters come out for the party. Rare characters from the past have included the 7 Dwarfs, Jack Sparrow plus Jasmine and the Genie and more. In addition to rare characters, get photos with your favorite pals in their Christmas attire.
10. Enjoy Short Attraction Lines
In addition to all the party happenings, select favorite attractions are open for guests with shorter than average wait times. Expected open rides include: Astro Orbiter, Big Thunder Mountain, it’s a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Fairytale Hall, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and more.
