Another good way to save for Disney is to save your unspent dollars.
If you were planning on going out for lunch today, eat at home instead and add the $20 you would of spent to your Disney fund. They money would of been gone anyway, so why not save it instead? The same idea could be applied to your daily cup of coffee (get a travel mug and bring your own with you), a new book (get it at the library) or seeing a new movie at a local dollar theater instead of the cinema ($5.50 per ticket or more). If you budget X amount for a utility and you are under, put the difference in your bank. The possibilities are endless. You just need to be committed to investing in your Disney fund.
This thread on The Dis is very helpful in finding other ways to save.

Hey! Great tip. This is what I have trying to do lately. Unfortunately, a lot times I am too lazy or have too much work to do. But I hope this going great for you and I hope you and your family get to enjoy Disney World. It’s truly a magical place.
One more thing. Have you already done the Give one day, get one day promotion from Disney? I’m sure you’ve heard of it, but just in case you haven’t, Disney is giving away tickets to anyone that volunteers. I think there is more information available on the Disney website.
Hi, we just did the Disney’s give a day get a day program! We unloaded a semi full of boxes of food for Angel Food Ministeries and helped pass out food from 6:00 -11:30 in the morning and just got our vouchers for a free disney emailed to us. 5 people in our family, all for free! Very easy money maker, and felt like we were helping others as well! Great program!
