Disney World Training

in Posts

Welcome to Disney World Training. My complete guide to getting you ready for your trip to Disney! I’ll be sharing my tips, secrets and my plans too.

To help me understand my readers and what they might need to know, I created a section of the blog where you can share your trip facts with me. You can find it here. Be sure to check out and see if your trip information is on the spreadsheet and if it’s correct.

Here are a few facts:

There are 74 readers of Couponing to Disney that are going to either Disney World or Disneyland.

14 readers are taking their very first trip to Disney.

6 readers are going without kids.

1 reader has been more than 100 times.

1 reader is going on their honeymoon.

My goal is to post a Disney World Training post every day. Hopefully I can stick to my goal. I have so much information I want to share!

I’m really looking forward to this segment :-) My husband and I can’t wait to get back to Disney and to share it with our daughter for the first time.

Add one more to your list of readers going to Disney this year! We’ve been several times, but it will be our newborn daughter’s first trip (she’ll be 16 months at travel time), and it will be our first trip as DVC members. We’re so excited! We’re taking our Princess Ella to meet Cinderella!

We went to Disney for our honeymoon three years ago, and hope our next big trip is to Europe (*before* kids!). I am thinking about setting my savings aside for this!

We’re planning the 9th trip for August, preferably Pop Century, if not Port Orleans. It’ll be my son and I(his autism always improves after his trip) and we’re planning on the free dining plan and park hoppers and stay for 7 days, flying out of the local airport. Savings have begun but definite plans will have to wait on actual dates.

Count me in as going this year at least 2 or 3 times, went for my honeymoon and have been over 100 times! (: We live in NC and my grandmother lives about an hour away from Disneyworld. Growing up my family went at least once a year many times more. My husbands family was the same way. With my grandmother so close, it makes it very easy to plan quick, cheap vacations there! (:

This is our first trip to Disney. We will be going in June. Our kids are 15 and 16, so I would really like advice for the best parts of Disney for that age group. Can’t wait to go..

I was a Disney Bride and it was Magical. We honeymooned at Disney after our Wedding cruise. There is nothing more Magical then Disney in Love. I got my husband hooked on his first visit. I have been atleast 12 times and have three trips planned in the next year! Any Disney Brides (I got married on Castaway Cay and hae a Magic Kingdom and Epcot Photo shoot) or Honeymooners with Questions I will be happy to help! I am also a Travel Agent for Disney and it is so Magical helping others plan vacations!

booked our second Disney World trip last week! we will be going december 19-29 this year. our resort of choice this time is pop century with the park hopper and quick service dining plan. last time we stayed at port orleans french quarter and did the sit down meal plan. this time, my “freebie” child is no longer “free”!! the cost is the same as last time (2007) but with having to pay for her, we need the cheaper room. we have had 3 different PINS sent to us, but, so far nothing that works for our time frame. the most recent PIN expires december 16!! 3 days before we arrive!! we are hopeful that something will come our way before we go!! thanks, kristin, for all your help! i have read every one of your blogs and am trying to figure out how to print them so i can take them with me!! any suggestions? i don’t want to print all the comments posted.

Count me in as well, me and my son are going in August. I had the amazing opportunity to take each one of my children for mommy time at Disney between the ages of 5-6. (My husband is not a fan of crowds) My son is the last one, and is so excited. In Summer 2011 we are purchasing season passes, and plan on going as much as possible. :0)

I am going at the end of June ( I so didn’t pick the time, but that’s when we are going) . I have been there with my daughter, adult sisters, and my parents six times. This will be our seventh time together. We are so excited! We have gone about 4 times before my daughter was born… we love Disney! We love reading tips on making the trip better and better. Keep them coming!

I in the last two weeks have started saving for a trip to Disney- I found your site very much by accident, but I’m very excited about it. I am trying to save enough to “do it up” when we’re there, so I’m trying to save quite a bit. We have plenty of time, but with only one income in the family, it is slow going. I can’t wait to see what I can learn from your site!! :O)
