Target has a new way to get coupons! You can now sign up for Target’s Mobile Coupons.You will receive exclusive Target store coupons that can be stacked with mfg coupons. The cashier will scan the barcode on your phone to use the coupon.
The website states that you will get your monthly offers via text message with a link to a barcode that can be scanned at checkout. The same barcode can be used for multiple one-time-only coupon deals throughout the month. Offers always arrive on a Sunday. Standard message and data rates apply.
These coupons are not the same as the printable coupons located on their website.
You can also sign up to have the weekly ad sent to your phone as well as Target’s daily online deals. They also have an iPhone app and mobile gift cards. You can see more on their mobile offerings here.
I just signed up for mine (finally added texting), so I thought I’d post this as a reminder.

I was so excited about this, so I signed up and receive 17 welcome texts in ONE day! I canceled 3 times but they still came. I called the number provided- they said this is a BIG problem right now. They are trying to fix it, but I still am getting a couple texts a day! What a pain! Hope they fix it quick…I love the idea of text coupons!
I tried to sign up for mobile coupons today and for some reason the link wasn’t working! I’m so excited for coupons but for some reason i can’t get the link to subscribe off of the website to work. Every time I click “subscribe” it doesn’t work.
Nevermind!! I got it to work!! I visited target.com on my phone and subscribed that way. WOO!
