At the end of Main Street in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is Cinderella’s Castle. Yes this is the very castle that Cinderella and Prince Charming live in!
Take a walk through Cinderella’s Castle on your way to and from Fantasyland and check out the mosaic murals. It tells the story of Cinderella and it is breathtaking!
If you want to take your little princesses and princes inside, you can dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table located on the second floor. There you will find Cinderella and her princess friends and more at every meal. You will have to reserve this meal 180 days from the day you leave for your trip! It is the most popular meal at Disney and it does come with a hefty price tag.
Also located within Cinderella’s Castle is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This boutique salon will transform your daughter into a Disney princess!
There is a penthouse inside Cinderella’s Castle. For years it wasn’t used, but they transformed into into a two-bedroom “Cinderella’s Guest Suite.” Money can not buy you a night in the suite (so much respect to Disney for that!). They usually choose Make a Wish kids to spend a night in the suite.
There is a garden located between the castle and Tomorrowland. It is called the All American Rose Garden. I recommend that you take a walk around dusk through the garden. You might even find ducklings waddling around!
Just behind Cinderella’s Castle is Cinderella’s fountain (on the Fantasyland side). If you bow down in front of the fountain you will see a crown magically appear on Cinderella’s head!
Make sure you check out the rear of the castle. Many times characters will appear unannounced!
Starting about a half hour after the park closes (remember that if the park closes at 9pm, you have almost a full hour to leave the park), the Kiss Goodnight will begin. Cinderella’s Castle will appear to change colors as Roy O. Disney’s dedication speech for the Magic Kingdom plays thanking you for coming.
Here’s a tip: In the morning the walkway through the castle is closed. This is because of the show Dream Along with Mickey that is performed periodically throughout the day. However, at night the walkway is open. So make sure you experience it!

Eating in the castle is soooooooooooooooooooooo good, but soooooooooooooooooooo expensive ~$50 a person. Worth it at least once in a life time! My hubby and I did it on our honeymoon and it was a WONDERFUL experience! Highly recommend it!!
Your post are making me want to go to Disney World. I was lucky enough to go to Disney Land this year, but it is so different.
We are eating in the castle for the first time in our lives this April. I am taking a friend and her 2 little girls along with my 2 little girls and we felt is was most appropriate for our ALL GIRL trip to dine in Cinderella’s house. We are super excited and cannot wait!
I was wondering if this is worth it for a family of 3? I have a 4yr old son that just loves the princesses. But I am not sure my husband will approve to eat there, since we don’t have a little girl to take with us. Thanks!
