Did your Snapfish order get cancelled?

in Posts

Both my orders for the free dog leash and the free coasts have been canceled. It seems Snapfish is canceling everyone’s orders and giving lame excuses: “We couldn’t access your prints at this time” or “We have run out of the inventory and won’t be fulfilling your order at this time.”

I suggest you don’t take this sitting down. It is not your fault that Snapfish offered these items and then decided to not fulfill the orders. If you are interested in pursuing this matter further, please read this article over at Nicole’s Nickels.

I’m very sorry that I posted a deal that the company is not fulfilling. I know we each spent 10 minutes or more designing our items. That is 10 minutes we will never get back in our lives and I really hate to waste time. So best of luck to all of you!

I haven’t received anything about my coasters getting canceled. How rude for them to cancel when it was THEIR mistake! Not a good way to earn more business!!!! I will post if I receive an email.

They cancelled my leash and said that I could order a free mug ($9.99), but when I got to check out, they charged me full price for the item plus shipping which was free with the dog leash! When I complained, they said that if I order the item they would refund me the money. I decided to skip it. I won’t be doing business with them again!!

my email said
“Dear Shannon,
It has come to our attention that an expired offer featuring coasters was incorrectly added to your new account. We regret the error yet we’re pleased to tell you that the intended offer – a FREE 5″x 7″ greeting card – is waiting for you.”
Well the 6 coasters were going to be a mother’s day gift for my mom with all of her grandkids photos on each. I am really disappointed in this company.

I haven’t received a cancellation notice yet on my coasters. But thanks for the heads up, I’ll keep a look out.

I did receive a cancellation notice on the leash, but I have not received anything on the coasters, yet. I sent them an email complaining about this, but i have not heard anything back. They also offered me a “free” mug. I am really disappointed; this was supposed to be a father’s day gift for my dad.

I got the notice about the leash and contacted them via live chat asking if I could get a credit for it once they come back in stock. They said yes so I used the option to have the conversation emailed to myself for proof. I just got the notice about the coasters yesterday. I will be contacting them again! Those were for my husbands grandparents for Christmas! (They are 86 & 90 yrs old!) I do not want the stupid mug and I sure dont want A greeting card!!!

I just chatted with a person online and they gave me credit for an 8 x 10 photo panel. They told me to pick something comprable in price to the coasters and that is what I could find that I liked (it was $19.99). The person told me to pay for shipping now and then livechat someone to get shipping refunded. They just added the credit for the panel to my account. Hope this helps!

I didn’t get a cancellation notice but when I go into the account I ordered from it’s showing that I have no order history. Nothing. Like I never even placed an order for the leash at all.

I got a notice last night telling me it was a mistake for the coasters and that the real deal was a $1.99 greeting card. I just finished a live chat with a customer service rep and they said that my order is still in process and that I will be notified when they ship. I guess they had a larger response than planned for the coasters and are just out of the inventory currently. If you really want the coasters you ordered, contact them and make sure you get some answers

I did not take part in either of these offers. But I did take part in the free Christmas ornament they offered last year. I kept checking back and the status was still processing. When I emailed the company about it, I was told that it was part of a photo deal with Santa.
I remember using a code for the item, but don’t remember which blog I found the code on. I will not be doing business with them due to this.

Hi , Welcome to Snapfish Live Help. How may I help you today?

You are now chatting with ‘Srinivas’

lindsey: I ordered coasters and it says my order in cancelled

Srinivas: I am sorry you feel like the campaign was not defrauded. When an offer clearly states a greeting card, but mysteriously turns into a coaster set, something is wrong. I apologize that you were caught in the middle of this, but we are unable to honor an inaccurate and fraudulent promotion.

lindsey: there was no offer. it was a link to sign up a new account.

lindsey: when I did I got the credit for coasters

Srinivas: I am sorry you feel like the campaign was misleading. When an offer clearly states a greeting card, but mysteriously turns into a coaster set, this should indicate something is wrong with the offer. I apologize that you were caught in the middle of this, but we are only able to honor the promotion as it was originally advertised.

lindsey: nothing was advertised to me. that is the problem

lindsey: I became a new customer and it said I had a credit, so I used it and then it was cancelled?

Srinivas: It was a campaign manipulated by an outside source. The original page you saw clearly indicated a greeting card. I know, because I have seen that page. However, instructions were given as to how to get around this promotion and get credits for something else. I understand how you feel, but I can not offer an alternate product.

lindsey: what instructions? becoming a new customer?

Srinivas: I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

lindsey: what instructions?

Srinivas: To get that free credit in your account.

lindsey: The free credit was in my account after joining. This is deceptive business practice. I did not sign up for the item you are offering, and I want an item comparable in value to the item I originally ordered if I can’t get my coasters PLUS free shipping

Srinivas: Again, I am sorry for this issue, but I am unable to rectify it in the way you wish.

lindsey: I feel TRICKED & CHEATED

Srinivas: Please accept my sincere apology for any inconvenience on this matter.

lindsey: why did the company offer this if it was not valid?

lindsey: No this is not going to work.

Srinivas: It was a campaign manipulated by an outside source. The original page you saw clearly indicated a greeting card. I understand how you feel, but I can not offer an alternate product.

lindsey: this is unacceptable. I DON’T want an Alternate product. I want my coasters that I designed.

Srinivas: I am sorry, this order will not process.

lindsey: I will never be ordering from your company again. This is deceptive business practice. Your company has made a bad name for itself.

lindsey: Your computers screwed up and so I get screwed over it. Thanks a lot.

Srinivas: Again, I am sorry for the issue, but there is nothing else I can do.

That is funny, Lindsey. A different rep said the EXACT same thing word for word when I did a live chat with them today about my coasters cancellation.

UPDATE
My leash order got canceled, too. I contacted the company via email about my disappointment with this whole offer. After a couple emails back and forth, I was offered any replacement product of similar value. I ended up ordering the dog dish, but I had to pay shipping upfront. They refunded the shipping the next day, and the dog dish has shipped. I also see that they gave me credit for 50 prints (no exp date). I am pretty pleased with this resolution, even though it took a little work on my end and not settling for something of lesser value.
My coasters are still “In Process” and have not shipped. Has anyone gotten their coasters?
