Make Extra Cash With Lightspeed Consumer Panel

in Posts

I am showcasing my favorite survey companies that have paid me. I’ve previously mentioned My Survey and Opinion Outpost. (I suggest that you start with 1 or 2 and slowly add on more as you feel comfortable.)

Another survey company that I enjoy is Lightspeed. I have been with them over a year and their surveys are not tedious and boring. They are fairly easy to complete and I don’t find myself getting kicked out of their surveys halfway through (I hate that!). Overall I’d have to say that Lightspeed is my third favorite survey company.

You can check out all the ways to earn extra cash here.

What is up with getting kicked out of a survey near the end?!!! I have signed up with 9 different survey companies and hardly ever seem to qualify for any. I was so excited to qualify for one…I spent 35 minutes on it tonight and then it came up with something about having all the answers they need from others. Is it a scam so they don’t have to pay out? If it was full why dont they tell you before you invest 35 minutes.

Do you have any other tips on surveys in general? Like I said I signed up for 9 different companies so far and in 3 months and a LOT of time invested on my part have made less than $5 combined (excluding Pinecone Research who is fantastic but does not send many surveys my way.) I make more with MyPoints and Swagbucks than with these below that I am NOT having luck with:

- Global Test Market
- Ipsos I Say
- Lightspeed
- Mindfield
- Opinion Outpost
- Surveyhead
- Valued Opinons

Thanks for letting me vent.

Karen – I had that happen to me before and I wrote them a pretty sharp letter and they credit my account for the survey.

If you are a sunshine member you will find that you can go in and report the problem and Greenfield which is who they partner with goes in and checks them out and I have gotten credit for ones I got kicked out of.

The one in question was one from SurveyHead. I thought about contacting them but have read that on many of these companies they don’t really care…they can get others to fill your spot…so they boot you or just dont send any surveys your way if you grumble.

I understand the whole thing about needing to be in the right demographic etc that they are looking for on each survey but you can pretty much tell if you have progressed beyond the screener type questions esp if you are already 15 minutes in on a sup 20 minute survey.

I forgot to list SurveySavvy on the list. In 3 months I have not rec’d one thing from them. And I do make sure my profile q’s are all answered.

I research the survey companies before I even sign up as there are some less than savory ones out there so I thought I was selecting ones that others have had luck with.

Like I said the first one I signed up with was Pinecone and I am afraid I was spoiled from them being such a stellar company for my first one. Pinecone is the Prince and the rest are turning out to be frogs.

I guess I will try a few new ones to sign up with and see if my luck can change. Thanks for all your imput.

Lightspeed is my favorite survey site so far. I have only been doing surveys for a couple months but I seem to qualify for the Lightspeed surveys the most. I have already redeemed $25 since January in amazon giftcards!

My favorite survey site is Pinecone but you can’t really do referrals from there. My second is MySurvey and then SurveySavvy which I cash out for checks for pretty regularly.

Ladies,

How much time would you say doing all these surveys takes you each day/week? I work fulltime and have been very hesitant to get myself into something if I won’t have time to do it. I finally did go ahead and sign up for Pinecone the last time around since so many people seem to love it. I just got my first check in the mail today, and I’d really like to do more survey companies if it won’t take up too much of my already limited time.

I take 15 minutes a day to do all my rewardsiting. LOl! A new word. I earn a pretty good amount each week. The cool thing with most of these survey sites, mysurveys, surveysavvy, pinecone is they email you, you don’t have to look for them. So you could get 1 a week or 2 a week. If you have time great if you don’t, don’t stress over it.

Thanks Kim. I wasn’t really sure how these survey companies worked. I thought maybe they would drop you if you don’t respond, but it sounds like if you don’t respond, there are plenty of others who will, so maybe the companies don’t really care?
