Olay’s body wash mail in rebate ends today! They are offering $15 back via rebate when you buy any 3 body washes (no size restriction listed). Here are a few scenarios:

BIG LOTS

Big Lots has a 6.8 oz bottle of Olay body wash for just $1! There is not a size restriction on the current Olay rebate, so you could buy 3 body washes and pay $3 and submit for the $15 rebate. That is a $12 money maker! (Big Lots does not accept coupons)

Use (3) $1.00 Qs from 3/7 PG
Pay $8.61

or

Buy (3) Olay Regenerist Facial Moisturizers – $6.27 each
Use (3) $3.00 Qs from 2/7 PG

I just realized last night that I need to get mine in the mail. I bought body wash weeks ago but kept forgetting to print off the form and send it in.

does anyone else think it’s weird that there are 8 upc spots when you only had to buy 3 items?

I was wondering that myself?? It states that you may only get one rebate per household so why are there more than 3 spots for UPC??

Will they really send you back $15 if you send in $3 worth of receipts? I have seen where they will send back only your purchase price if it is less than the $15…anybody know for sure?

I’ve never had this happen before on a rebate that said it was for a certain amount. It doesn’t say up to $15 on the rebate anywhere that I see. Fingers crossed!

I was a little bit scared of that with the regenerist rebate, so I called and the person that I spoke to said that you just have to buy 2, doesn’t matter what they cost. I think I spent about $1 oop, the rest was coupons and extra bucks, and I got the full $15 back. My mom also did the same thing and got the $15 back.

This one clearly says buy any 3… not something like “buy any 3 worth $15+ or spend $15+ and get $15 back.” I got mine at Target, so I’m not all that worried but I did tell my mom and aunt about the Big Lots deal, and they got some where. I really hope that they send it. It would be really wrong if they didn’t.

I went to Dollar General this week to finish up buying for the rebate. Nature Botanicals rang up at $1.25 and I had a $1 coupon making it .25. You might want to check that out if you need to still purchase some and there is a store near you.

I called and asked about spending less than $15 and you will NOT get $15 back if you spend less than $15 (I don’t know how couponse affect it though). So don’t be disappointed when you spend 3 bucks and bet 3 bucks back in the mail.

I called and was told that as long as you buy 3 items, you get the $15. I didn’t ask specifically about Big Lots because this was before I knew the info but I did ask about buying 3 items that were less than $15 and I was told that I’d get the $15 back.

It’s going to be really lame if they don’t send the full amount promised. If they are going to start doing these rebates based on oop expense, they probably need to be more specific about them.

I’m going to be very unhappy if we don’t get the full $15. I have lots of bodywash already and only did this rebate because it’s a money maker. Shame on Olay if they don’t follow through.

I agree! I probably would have done the rebate if it wasn’t a money maker. I think that if they want to change it up, they need to be more specific on the rebate forms. It would be really easy to say “buy $15 worth and get $15 back” but it doesn’t say that…

I got mine at Dollar General and it rang up 1.25 each. How is that for a 13.99 money maker. My OOP was 1.01! I was excited.

The ad says postmark by 3/26/10 , however there is no coupon to be printed on the website. Is this false advertising?

I bought one of the Dollar General olay body washes and they sent my rebate form back to me saying they couldn’t complete the rebate because that one particular body wash had a upc code that wasn’t acceptable. I thought it was for any olay body wash, but apparently not.
