Your blog has quickly become my favorite. It has inspired me to share positive feedback with companies (and be rewarded with coupons for free stuff!!). It has also inspired me to track my savings and put the $ to a fund. The purpose of the fund is still TBD. We are trying to have a baby, so I dream about the day I can take my daughter to Bippity Boppity’s or son on Pirates of the Carribbean. I know I’ve said this before but since this is the question you asked I’ll say it again! LOL Your blog has inspired me to take all of my rebates each month and put them towards paying for Christmas. Christmas is always the time of year we spend the most money and for some reason money always seems to be tight around that time too so we decided we’ll be prepared this year by saving all year. The way we are saving all year is by putting my monthly savings on groceries and rebates towards a Holiday Club at our bank. We have $572 saved up since January 1 of this year! When I 1st started reading your blog in the Fall, I wasn’t even into major couponing at the time. A few months into reading it my husband and I decided to go to Tampa to see family and go to Disney and SeaWorld. I decided to do what you do and take all that extra money we save and put it into an account to save for the trip.
Well a few weeks ago we decided that we should get debt free once and for all and put all vactions on hold. We had done the Dave Ramsey class in the past and knew that we could do this. In fact I just paid off one of two credit cards earlier this week, by Summer 2011 we will be debt free minus our house.
But I never did rebates before reading your blog and today I realized that since the 1st of the year I have gotten $250 in rebate checks, and there are still more that I am waiting to come in my mailbox and more that I am waiting to mail. Thank you so much, and when we do go to Disney in the Fall of 2011, we are going to live it up!! Your blog is great and I think that you have inspired many of us!

saving money helps me stay at home with my kids
