One of the biggest ways I earn money for our trip is by using rewards companies like survey companies and companies that pay you to click on links in emails. It won’t make you rich, but you can average $20-$75 a month by doing them.
I suggest you make an alternate email address to use for these companies. That way they don’t get mixed in with your everyday emails. I mainly do the click sites while I am watching TV or chatting on the phone. Good luck!

Nielsen (you know the people that track the TV ratings) has a program that tracks your shopping purchases called The Home Scan Panel.
Here’s how it works: Sign up here and upon approval they send you a scanner. You scan all the purchases you bring into your house, groceries, healthy and beauty, clothes, etc. (This is a fun thing to let the kids do!) Once a week, you hook the scanner up to your computer (or you can elect to get the scanner that submits it’s data over a landline) and in about a minute it transmits the data back to Nielsen.
You earn points for each weekly submission (150 points but it goes up the longer you’ve been a member) and then you also complete a short survey on each store you shopped at that week (100 points per store).
The points can be exchanged for a variety of prizes such as a Step 2 Easel for 34,000 pts (think Christmas) or Dooney & Bourke® Small Tulip Tassel Tote for 95,000 points (awesome!). They have over 250 prizes to choose from.
Are any of you already doing Home Scan?

Today is Mega Swagbucks Friday on Swag Bucks! You have the chance to win 1000, 2000 or more Swag Bucks! So what is the most that you have ever won? Mine would be 50!
Want to know something funny? The second source of traffic for my blog is via Swag Bucks. I get about 1500 visits a day by readers using Swag Bucks to get here (they just search Couponing to Disney).
I love Swag Bucks. I think it’s a great company and it’s so awesome that you really earn gift cards just by searching. It’s so easy to earn them, it really takes no leg work on your part other than replacing your current search engine with Swag Bucks. But I know that some days you don’t earn as much and that $5 Amazon.com gift card does seem out of your reach. So I am doing a giveaway! And this one is going to be interesting…
I am going to give 1 winner $10 via either Paypal or Amazon! In order to win this, you are going to have to be commenter #198. Here’s how this works:
Each person is allowed up to 6 comments on this post. The person that leaves comment #198 is going to win!
PLEASE do not use the reply feature under each comment. You need to scroll down the page to the comment box to leave a comment. (That is because the reply feature messes up the comment count)
Good luck! I can’t wait to see who wins!
Not sure what Swag Bucks is or want to know how to earn more Swag Bucks? Be sure to read my Swag Bucks tutorial.
