I purchased 2 Covergirl Mascara, 2 Govergirl liquid foundation, and a pack of Pampers diapers for $1.99 at Rite-Aid!!! Covergirl was BOGO, I used 2 BOGO coupons & got them free. Pampers were 8.49, I applied for the $1.50 SCR and I used a $5 off $25 coupon. Before my discounts and coupons, my total was over $32!
Well, I had a list of things to get and everything organized (since we live 30-45 minutes from stores, I need to be organized). Two minutes from pulling into CVS, my little one made a noise and I turned to see my little one get sick all over the the place. Yuck… after a strip, a change, and a little clean up we were both smelling not so hot. Needless to say we ran into the market real quick to get the milk I needed and we have nothing to brag about! :) I tried to stay as far away from everyone and the cashier for their own good.
I did not realize how long 40 minutes can be in a car with breakfast all over it, and, I did not realize how hard it is to clean a car seat :) This is the first incident of the sort for me…though I’m sure many can attest to the fact that it won’t be the last.

I can’t remember if you posted this deal or not. Rite Aid currently has a sale/rebate on Foster Grant sunglasses. They’re anywhere from $5.99 – $6.99 for the kids ones. (Adult ones are $10 off in store, no coupon necessary.) If you watch their vid here: http://my.adperk.com/offer/d30b50da/manufacturer/Foster%20Grant/#ly You get a $5 off coupon. Depending on what the kids’ sunglasses are priced at at your store (I’ve read some have them on clearance for as low as $1.49) it could be a money maker deal as they also have a $2 Single Check Rebate on it for up to 2 pairs.
They’re $6.99 in my area, so after tax and rebate, I ended up paying 50 cents per pair of sunglasses for my kids. Not a bad deal! While there, we noticed they still had Easter candies on clearance for 90% off. We got 2 bags of Starburst jelly beans for 24 cents each! They’re perfect for potty training rewards.
These deals are pretty inspiring, hopefully I’ll get there soon :)
