Get a $4.96 refund on Embark lunch boxes at Target!

in Posts

Embark lunch boxes at Target have a coupon booklet and an offer for a 6 month subscription to Parents Magazine inside the box. (Just look for the advertisement tag hanging on the side of the bag.) If you do not wish to receive the Parents magazine, you can write refused on the advertisement and return it with your receipt and you will receive a check for $4.96! (I have done this type of offer in the past.)

Lunch boxes range in price from $3.99 to $12.99. Pick up the cheap lunch box and you’ll make a little profit after the refund! The more expensive lunch boxes are really nice too and they have plenty of designs to chose from!

Here is the current list of coupons found in the lunchboxes:

Booklet #1 (expires 12/31/11):
Capri Sun 100% Juice – $1/1
Yoplait kids yogurt – $1/2
Minute Ride – $1/1
Purell Product – $1/1 (excludes trial)
Pediasure 6-pack – $1.50/1
Arm and Hammer Kid’s Spinbrush Powered Toothbrush – $1/1
Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials Multipack – $1/1

Booklet #2 (expires 12/31/10):
Leapster game – $5/1
Horizon Organic Single Serve Milk (8 oz) – $1/3
Yoplait kids yogurts – $1/2
Bumble Bee Premium Albacore or Light Tuna Pouch – $1/2
Dole Fruit bowls, gels or parfaits – $1/2

Just make sure you open the lunch box first to make sure the Parents postcard and coupon booklet are in the bag!

Thank you….
I have several special needs children, and we use these lunch boxes for their individual medications and vitamins and I can get them for FREE and get coupons.

I just bought DD’s lunchbox today. I saw the coupons but tossed the parents magazine postcard. I just dug through our big outdoor trashcan complete with dirty diapers and rotten food scraps for the postcard. I found it! Awesome!!!

There is a an address on the post card that you return the postcard to. All the details you need are right on the postcard.

Do you know if you will receive the check back on multiple lunch boxes?

It says limit one per address. You could use a friends or families address if they will let you.

Just did this at Target after convincing my son he needed one of these and not a Buzz Lightyear lunchbox. I had to let him buy a Buzz Lightyear backpack but that’s ok…those aren’t free….yet. I hear they’re going to be on sale this weekend at Staples.

In Wal*Mart, look near the storage containers. I went to two Wal*Marts and found them in the Housewares aisles in identical locations. I speculate they have a plan for each aisle the stores must follow.

There are two displays of Lunch boxes in Housewares. The brand we want is on the left (with store front at your back) in the center of the aisle. There are two sizes and the smaller one is the more popular. Other nice lunch sacks with cartoon characters are on the left almost at the end of the same aisle in Housewares. Plastic storage containers and insulated bottles are around both lunch boxes.

I hope this helps.

Target has marked down their lunch boxes, so you can probably get the fancier lunch boxes for free!

Do you fill out the postcard with your name and mailing address, and then write “refused” across the postcard to get a check? Basically, how they know where to send it. Thanks!
