I just wanted to thank you so much for your web site…. I never really believed that you could save so much money using coupons and now I am in love with it, each time I go to the store I try to spend less and less, I have cut all my grocery bills in half and sometimes more… Your information is so helpful!!!!
Thank you again
Amy :)
Just wondering which state the price for the Wonka candy is $1.50 a bag cause in Ga when I called my Wal-mart they said theres were priced at $2.96 a bag or what area in the store are these found are they up front maybe.
Alana.
My Walmart here in FL was also $2.96
I think the post it $1 coupon is only for the Super Sticky post its.. :(
Did Walmart change something on their coupon policy this month? Earlier in the month, I used several of the $1.00 Gain dish liquid coupons to get free dish liquid. At that time, they gave me the full $1.00 off, even though the item was priced at $0.97. Today, I tried to do the same thing again. However, the register wouldn’t let me use the coupon at all! The clerk called over a manager, but the manager said there wasn’t anything she could do about it because its programmed into the register. So, I didn’t buy the Gain since I couldn’t use the coupon at all.
I had the SAME thing happen to me, so I emailed Wal-Mart and here is the response I received.
Thank you for your message.
Dear Deena,
Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding the acceptance of coupons at Walmart. Our guidelines generally allow for the following types of coupons to be accepted:
- manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
- free merchandise (or manufacturer’s Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
- store coupons (usually found in the newspaper and are generated by the actual competitor)
- internet coupons
- soft drink container caps
A salaried manager may refuse to accept a coupon if it does not meet certain criteria.
Coupon guidelines and limits include but are not limited to the following:
Walmart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase. Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Walmart will not accept expired coupons or double/triple coupons. Internet coupons should be legible and say “Manufacturer Coupon_ and there should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and scannable bar code. Store Coupons must reflect a specific sale price or original price and must be available to all customers. For ‘Free’ merchandise coupons, customers will not receive cash back — the cashier will adjust the value of the coupon to the actual retail of the item at the time of sale. In addition, only one coupon per item is permitted and use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by a Customer Service Manager.
Sincerely,
Walmart Customer Care
I don’t understand how the Toy Story band aids equal .68. Doesn’t $3/3 mean you get $3 off of 3 of them??
$3 off 3 would make them .68 each, they are priced at $1.68-$1.00.
The STP printable is coming up now as $1 off instead of $2. Every little bit helps, though. Thanks!
