Touring the parks with my tip sheets

in Disney World Parks

I wanted to put all my tips in one location to make it easy for me to pull them up while we are in the parks. I thought you might like to take a look at them for yourself as well. Feel free to add tips, opinions or corrections to the posts. After my trip they will become permanent fixtures in the Disney World Training Series.

Magic Kingdom

Epcot

Animal Kingdom

Hollywood Studios

Disney World is the Most Magical Place On Earth. Be sure to learn how to make the most of your trip by reading the Disney World Training series. You can also browse all the articles I have written in an easy to use outline. And if you are ready to book your trip, be sure to read about the perks of using an authorized Disney vacation planner (plus it’s FREE!).

One more tip – Osbourne Family Lights…. They do not turn off at park closing and when I asked when they turn them off or when we have to leave, I was told that they don’t turn them off until the last guest leaves. We stayed for over an hour AFTER park closing and the photo pass photographers stayed to take pictures. The Writer’s Shop also stayed open over an hour after park closed for guests and their sweet tooth.

Haunted mansion- had a wall up at beginning of December so tombstones weren’t visible. May be redoing them.

MK Main Street: Heading towards the castle, take the last street on your right. Go to the end and look up on your left. There is a dance studio. You can sometimes hear the instructor and the dancers tapping.

MK Main Street Barber: They also can add hair paint to your hair. It does take a while to dry, but it lasted several days. It washed out easily too.

Another fun thing for the kids to do as a keepsake is to have their picture taken and imposed onto a puzzle. This is after the Figment ride. The puzzles can be foam type for little kids or more pieces for an older kid. My kids loved having their pictures on a puzzle!!

The movie in Exposition Hall wii, I think, be moved to the Studios. Toontown is closin February 11 and Mickey, Minnie and the princesses will relocate to Exposition Hall for meet & greets. Tink heads to the Studios and the other fairies to Epcot at some point.

Does anyone know what will happen to Mickey and Minnie’s houses? My daughter just loves Minnie’s house! I am sad to see Toontown go!

Thanks for posting these! We’re going in February (my second visit, Doug’s first), and I’m super excited. Despite growing up on the east coast, I’ve been to Disneyland far more times, thanks to living in CA for seven years. :)
