I love Amazon.com. It is like the Walmart of the internet. They have just about anything and everything and constantly have great deals!
- If you are a mom, join Amazon Mom and get free 2-day shipping on almost EVERYTHING!
- *If you are a student with a .edu email address, you can get a six months of free prime shipping as well.
How can you use Amazon to “Coupon to Disney“?
- Check Amazon’s price before you buy the item somewhere else. Amazon isn’t always cheaper, but it is always worth checking.
- If you have items that you want to buy eventually, but them on your wishlist. You can check it a few times a week to see if the price has dropped (an alert will be posted at the top of the wishlist page)
- Amazon has a ton of free MP3s and their MP3 albums are usually cheaper than elsewhere.
- If you love books, you will love the 4 for 3 special they run. I love a GREAT deal on early reader books.
- And if you like to read, make sure you download the Kindle app to your computer, iPod or phone. They have over 1000 free Kindle books and are constantly updating with new books.
- Everyday Amazon has special sales they call Lightning sales. These sales are usually a deep discount and are only good for a few hours. So make sure you watch those for items you want/need!
- Magazines are often on sale on Amazon. You can get popular subscriptions for as low as $5.
- When Christmas comes, you will find many jaw dropping deals on Amazon. So make sure you watch those prices for items on your list!
I post many of the hot Amazon deals that I find. If you happen to find one, be sure to send me an email and let me know!

I am an Amazon addict and love it. Many things are MUCH cheaper. And on the iPhone its quick as scanning the item in the store to double check. Kindle books are great and there are a lot of public domain books for free.
Wanted to share a couple of things:
Price drops happen ALL the time. If you use Firefox, Chrome or Safari you can get a plugin called Ookong. It will show you the price history AND alert you when it drops. That’s how I saved nearly $200 off of my Dyson. All about the timing with Amazon.
On Swagbucks, you can also redeem points for Amazon gift cards. After some fun math, I found out that its better if you buy multiples of $5. Just divide the points by the dollar value and you can determine the “cost” of many of the gift cards. Usually the higher the value the more skewed and higher the points are.
Also just wanted to add, Amazon Deals launched today. It’s an iPhone app that shows you the best deals on the site from their “Gold Box” section. You can even purchase within the app. TomTom’s iPod Touch Car Kit, normally $79.99 on sale for $19.95 today. Amazing!
I love Amazon. One of my favorite things about Amazon is their review system. I use it all the time, whether I’m actually shopping on their site or not.
One easy way to get extra money is to sell your used items on Amazon.

I sell things on amazon ALL the time. You can also save on things like books or dvds by buying used ones from sellers on there, instead of full price ones. I, like another poster, LOVe the reviews, they are useful constantly.
Amazon is amazing! I love their lightening deals during Black Friday and their prices on textbooks can’t be beat!
