Military personal can get FREE admission to Busch Gardens and Sea World in 2011!

in Posts

I have some great news for my AMAZING military readers. How would you like to go to Sea World, Busch Gardens or Sesame Place for FREE in 2011?

Here’s how it works:

  • Any active duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman is entitled to free admission under the Here’s to the Heroes program.
  • You can either register online or at the entrance plaza of participating parks.
  • You will have to show a Department of Defense photo ID
  • Up to 3 direct dependents of the military personal can also get free admission (they can get free admission without the service member being present but must show valid dependent ID)
  • You can get free admission at these parks: SeaWorld Orlando, San Diego, or San Antonio, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or Williamsburg, Sesame Place, Water Country USA, Adventure Island.

Go here to read all the details.

And thank you from the bottom of my heart for the sacrifices you make for us.

We have done this twice before while vacationing at Disney. So super nice to have this available to military families.

We’ve enjoyed this “Here’s to the Heroes” opportunity for many years now in VA. Last year, we coupled it with our Disney vacation. We had a wonderful time at Busch Gardens, free of charge. So thankful for companies that make a way for military families to enjoy a great vacation!

I also saw a deal on Disney’s website that military can get a good deal on 4 day parkhopper tickets.

This is a great deal that we have taken advantage of for several years. Since it only allows for three dependants and my husband has 5 (myself and 4 kids) we also buy extra tickets on base for discounted price. If you’re military and near a base check with your ITT for discounted tickets!

I am such a HUGE fan of Anheuser-Busch! For several years now we have taken advantage of this program. I’ve gone to Sesame Place several times (what a GREAT park), and last year we flew to California for a family visit. While we were there we went to the Sea World in San Diego free! Of course, we paid for food and entertainment but what a great trip! This year I’m really hoping to get to Water Country USA. I do know that Disney World offers $138 for 4-day park tickets and for $27 more per tix you can get the hopper option. You can find that here: (you can get up to 6 tix)

I have a question if anyone can help me. My husband who is the active duty member is currently deployed.. My son and I are in California and would like to go to Sea World.. Do any of you know if he has to be present for us to get in with this offer, or is my dependents card good enough?

Yes, as long as you [an adult] are there, you and 2 other dependents can go to any of the parks for free, without your husband.
