There is an awesome rebate on the Bounce Dryer Bar refill that expires today and there is a GREAT deal on Amazon that you can get making the Dryer bar just 28c cents after rebate.

Here’s how:

New to Subscribe and Save? Amazon often offers discounts if you sign up to receive auto shipments (which can be canceled at anytime). I often select that I want to receive the item every 6 months and once I receive it, I go to “My Account” and click on “Manage Subscribe and Save” to cancel it. Don’t forget!

How to use this to Coupon to Disney: If you have Amazon gift cards you earned from Swag Bucks that you used to pay for this order, you could deposit the rebate check into your fund making this a $5.00 money maker!

Today is Swag Bucks birthday and to celebrate they are releasing codes all day long! I’ll be posting about them as soon as they go live. Hopefully there will be a lot of high value ones. Be sure to email me if you find one before I get it posted. I could always use some help!

What is Swag Bucks?

Swag Bucks is a search engine that awards you in the form of Swag Bucks (points that can be traded in for prizes.) You can chose from a variety of prizes including gift cards. My favorite is a $5 Amazon.com gift card. It costs 450 Swag Bucks.

You get 30 80 Swag Bucks for joining and can win anywhere from 20 – 50 Swag Bucks a day if you search until you win in the morning and in the evening. I usually win within my first 5 searches. They also have Swag Codes out at least 5 times a week that can be worth 10 – 30 Swag Bucks. I always notify you of them on my blog when they are available.

To sign up, go here. Make sure you use the code CouponingBDay when you register (good until 11:59 pst on 2.28). You will receive 80 Swag Bucks! (That is 18% of what you need to earn an Amazon gift card!)

If you are new to Swag Bucks and want to learn how it can help you Coupon to Disney, be sure to read the Swag Bucks tutorial.

Can you go an entire month without going out to eat? What about a week or a day? Can you cut your dining bill by 20%, 50% , 75% or more? That is what I challenge you to do!

At the end of the 30 days, I will choose one winner who will get $50 to spend however they choose!

How can this help you “Coupon to Disney?”

  • Take a look at your current dining out budget. How much did you spend last month going out to eat? That is money that could of gone into your fund instead! Try cutting your out to eat costs this month and adding the difference to your fund.
  • Set a weekly dining out budget, if you resist going out to eat, add that amount to your fund instead.
  • If you were seriously about to go out to eat (like had your coat on and was going out the door or pulled into the drive thru and then pulled back out), add the amount you would of spent to your fund.
  • Going out to eat and using a coupon or paying with a gift card? You could add that amount to your fund too. For example… if you had a $25 gift card to Cracker Barrel and you used it, you could take $25 cash out of your budget and add it to the fund. Or if you used a $10 coupon, you could take $10 cash out of the budget and add it to the fund.
  • Be sure to read my Couponing to Disney training series.

The rules:

  • You must challenge yourself. Try to spend less than you spend now. If you don’t go out to eat at all, challenge yourself to try new meals this month. As long as you are challenging yourself when it comes to your family’s eating habits, you can participate!
  • You must comment on at least 10 days worth of the discussion posts in order to be eligible to win the cash.
  • The winner will be chosen at random. It won’t matter if you have been 100% successful or not.
  • You are allowed 1 freebie meal that you don’t have to count or report back to us about. Please report on everything else though so we can encourage and support one another!
  • Free meals do not count against you. This is a challenge to spend less money going out to eat than you usually spend. If someone else is paying for the meal or you have a coupon to make it free, great!
  • Be sure to check out our list of casserole recipes here and the crock pot recipes here and the under 6 ingredient recipes here.

My update:

No dining out for us yesterday. Kind of. The church was having a chili cook-off to raise money for the children’s ministry so we stayed for that. But the money went to a good cause so I don’t classify that as dining out.

How are you doing?

I am going to be honest. Being overweight and vacationing at Disney is not easy. On the last trip my feet hurt so bad that I would cry over the pain. If I had been 50 – 75 pounds lighter, if I had walked more at home, it would of been easier. The average person walks 8-10 miles at Disney. That is a LOT of walking especially when you aren’t physically used to it.

So, it’s time to change all that. And I can’t do it alone. I need the help of my AMAZING Couponing to Disney readers. It doesn’t matter if you have 5 pounds or 50 pounds or 100 plus pounds to lose. Everyone is welcome to post on this thread. At the end of each month, I will pick one awesome reader who commented on at least 10 posts to win $50 via Paypal to add to their fund!

My progress:

I can’t believe a month has already passed. February just flies by. I am starting to do a lot better emotionally and I am planning on jumping back in with both feet as my due date passes on March 16th. Until then I am just going to concentrate on walking every day and watching my portions.

How did you do this month?
