If you are looking for a fun game to get your kids up and moving, I have a great recommendation.
The Mickey’s Mouse-Ke-Tag is $17.22 on Amazon. It comes with a Donald, Minnie, Mickey and Goofy and the Club House ‘tagger’. You set the figurines up around the room or yard and turn on the game. They have to run to the various characters and tag them with the clubhouse.
My kids have a BLAST with this game. They have been playing it all morning.
Don’t forget you can sign up for Amazon Mom or Amazon Student for FREE and get free 2 day shipping on ANY purchase.

Here we are again with the Chip and Company Disney Week in review. This has been a very “newsy” week so let’s get rolling with some of the most important information that Disney has given us to contemplate and digest.
- With the International Flower and Garden Festival opening on March 2 we learned a lot about who will be there and what will be happening. Check out HGTV Stars Meet ”Toy Story 3″ Heroes at 18th Annual Epcot Flower & Garden Festival March 2 – May 15.
- Dwight Eisenhower attended Disneyland Park in 1961 and since he is only one of five former Presidents to have visited and Presidents day was this week, One President’s Day At Disneyland Park seemed an appropriate story to tell.
- Mickey Magic will be coming to the Magic Kingdom this spring when you will be able to get a Fastpass for a one hour window to visit with the Big Cheese without standing in the Stand By queue.
- All of you future brides out there, take the time to enter the Alfred Angelo Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Sweepstakes, you may have a chance to make the best day of your life just that much better!
- There’s at least one more way that Pirates of the Caribbean will be unique from all of the others – the soundtrack. Yes, Hans Zimmer will still be there but he is collaborating with Rodrigo y Gabriella, an internationally famous Mexican guitar duo. That just raises my excitement level one more notch, see you at the theaters in May.
- Once again, Disney has elected to show it’s ongoing support for the members of our military with some outstanding discounts in 2011. Our brave military members can now ‘Let The Memories Begin with the rest of us.
- Steve Harvey and Disney are getting together for the fourth year to offer the Disney Dreamers Academy which is designed to let disadvantaged High School students realize that If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.
- ESPN The Weekend is back March 4th-6th and is being sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods. Read about it here.
- At one of my favorite restaurants, Victoria and Albert’s in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Chef Scott Hunnel has been named a semi finalist in the James Beard Foundation’s ‘Best Chef : South’ competition. Best of luck Chef, you are a true culinary artist.
- Once again the Disney Company has earned a prestigious award for it’s contribution to guests with access limitations. The Assistive Handheld Technology Device has been given the American Foundation For the Blind Access Award. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
- Disney is bringing Social Networking to children 10 and under by acquiring ”Togetherville’ a kid oriented social networking site. It is primarily designed for those from 6 – 10 but kids 13 and under can take part by joining their parent’s account.
- For you lovers of numbers and statistics, here is a list of fun facts surrounding the 18th annual Flower & Garden Festival. Get out you calculators and have some fun!!
In addition to the “hard Disney news” we also have writers who are anxious to present some of their “soft Disney views” so I’ll touch of just a couple here for you but remember, there are lots more on the Chip and Company website every day of the week.
- We had a couple of Super Duper ChipandCo Scoopers this week. Please read them with the sense of whimsy with which they were written. Chip found out through his vast worldwide network of Disney resources that in the middle of the night Disneyworld had defected from Florida and become it’s own country.
- In the same vein, yet another Super Duper ChipandCo Scooper, D.K. using her own resource net found out that since Disney was going to begin issuing Fastpasses to meet wth Mickey that theFast Pass lines had become so long that they had to introduce Fastpasses to get in line to get Fastpasses. Isn’t progress wonderful!?!
- Should Walt Disney permit Adults in Costume in the parks? DragynAlly addressed this issue and her take on it might surprise you but her logic is impeccable!!
That wraps up this week for the Chip and Company Week In Review. Remember to stop by and visit to see what we have to offer you. Remember, once in every day, Chip and Co in every browser!!! As always, enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World!!
