Have you heard about the Disney Chase Visa card? This card really is a jewel to many Disney fans! This card has several features such as “Disney Dollar” earnings of 1% on all purchases. The “Disney Dollars” can be used in any of the Disney theme parks and the Disney stores throughout the country. Owners of this card also receive several other benefits such as discounts off of purchases of merchandise in the theme parks. Certain restrictions do apply.
In addition to these discounts, Disney Visa owners can visit a special character meet and greet. Here the cardholder meets characters in a private setting for photos, hugs and memories unlike any other. On one particular vacation, I took my grandmother and Mickey was so excited that she had finally come to visit him that he attempted to leave WITH her! She was overwhelmed with love and remembered that experience fondly (and being 88 years old, that is saying something!) Once you have finished your meet and greet, you are invited to receive a free 5” X 7” photograph from your private session!
Cardholders also receive other benefits. For instance, in the past, cardholders have received free dining with their Disney vacation before the offer was made to the general public. This past week, cardholders received exclusive discounts off of the Walt Disney World Half Marathon and Marathon for 2012.
When I signed up for this card, I received a $40 credit at Disney. However, on the Annual Passholder portion of the Disney World site, there is a link for $100 credit for signing up for the card. You DO NOT HAVE to be an annual passholder to receive the $100. Just click here and sign up for it. Also watch your mailbox because they sometimes mail out offers for a $200 credit.

My offer came in the mail a couple of weeks ago and I got the $200 credit!
Okay, we have decent credit. It’s not amazing, but it’s good. And we couldn’t get approved for a Disney Visa. Any tips? The credit laws have changed so much, it feels like it’s much harder to get a credit card nowdays.
On the News a special report, they had information stating that Chase would NO longer offer their rewards.
On the debit only Joe :-)
I need something to back this up, Joe.
What news entity.
I got a Disney Visa card application in the mail today and signed up. There was a $200 bonus.
Ok am I missing something? You mentioned in your post stated that on the Annual Passholder part of the webiste you could sign your card and receive a $100 credit and you don’t have to be an annual passholder but the link you gave was to apply for a new card. I have two Disney Chase cards so I don’t need another one. Is there something I am missing or did I just not go to the right place?
We have had ours for a couple of years and it has been a great way to earn something extra on purchases we were going to make anyway!
I love this card! I don’t always pay it off each month but it is so worth it to know I have a pile of money for nothing but disney. I can’t steal it to cover other things so my savings keep growing.
We have one and love it. It paid for our hotel last time we went!
I got a $200 gift card when I signed up! LOVE my disney card! We used it at the Disney Store in our mall and saved 10% too!
