Once again another month has gone by since I made a deposit into the Disney fund (I hang my head in shame). But I have had a very busy month! Check out all the deposits I have to make:
$50 Walmart giftcard (belated Christmas present; will use to pay for sunscreen, snacks, etc)
$53.44 left on a gift card from our January 2011 trip
$6 in $2 bills that will be great for Mousekeeping tips
$15.33 in change
$24.02 from Sunshine Rewards
$200 Disney Giftcard for opening a Disney Visa in my husband’s name (I have absolutely no idea how we got this, but they sent us a total of 4 offers before we applied for Jason’s card. I also have one in my name.)
$33.23 – Lowered our cable bill and since it is now a lot lower than budget, we can deposit the difference into the Disney fund!
$348.79 deposited into the Disney Fund. $952.34 saved since June 1st, 2010. (Goal is $3,000.)

You could use your Walmart gift card (plus another $50) to buy a $100 Disney gift card at Sam’s Club and get a bonus $10 gift card to the Disney store.

If there is a promotion for something better than what you got when you opened your Disney Visa, email Customer Service. I did this over the summer and got $50 Disney dollars.

We just “officially” opened our Disney Fund on Tues. Deposited $58.64 from our change jar. And I also transfered 267 points from our rarely used Disney Visa. (that has now changed. We are charging everything and paying it off…I mean EVERYTHING! I love that you can pay by phone for FREE) I have lowered a few monthly bills, but the biggest one to note is my cell/internet saving $50 a month!!! We are also following the No Dining Out plan! This should all add up quickly for us. We are planning a Jan 2012 trip
