does anyone know which ticketing service will be used for Cars 2? We can’t use Fandango in my area

I think it was for Toy Story 3 that we got free tickets and it wasn’t through fandango. It was a case where you just took them to the theater and they took care of everything there. I’m betting it will be the same. Hopefully others will have a more decisive answer for you.

Does anyone know how to get the coupon to print to take into best buy to use at the register for the $10 and $8 off? I just keep getting the page to enter the code after you have already about the movies? Not understanding how to get the total down to $21.98 in store?

Cars UPC: 786936271898
Incredibles UPC: 786936244250
Any chance you can print 2 of the Incredibles coupons and mail me one? I tried printing that one and my printer messed up and had to reboot my computer. It won’t let me go back in a print it now because it shows I’ve already redeemed that offer. I tried it on the Cars video and was able to print 2 because it’s the coupons.com printer. Let me know! THanks! Lori

The coupons are for upgrading from DVD to Blu-Ray, so the assumption is that you’ve already purchased the DVD… the UPC I used for Cars was 8693627189, and the UPC I used for the Incredibles was 8693624425 – that should help you you :)

Sarah-
If this is the same as the Toy Story 3 promotion, you will get Movie Cash. We have 4 local theaters, none of which are Fundango ticketed theaters. But 3 of our theaters accept Movie Cash. Hope this helps….

I am a little confused. Printed under the coupon it states, “this coupon cannot be combined with any other offer.” How can both coupons be used at the same time and with the $10 off for buying both?

Vern I’m wondering the same thing. Somehow I don’t think Best Buy is going to allow the use of the coupons.

All coupons say that. It pretty much means that 2 coupons can’t be used on the same item. the sale is $10 off instantly at the register, so I don’t believe you are going to have any issues. :)

Just tried that at my local Best Buy in Mississippi, Manager said that the 10 dollars off on the two is also a manufactuers offer so they can’t do that & the coupons. Also for some reason my Incredibles coupon rang up as Bambi so they wouldn’t take it. Needless to say I did not purchase the movies.

Well finally after several trips to the store & them having to UPS a copy of cars in due to them only receiving one copy I finally was able to purchase both movies with all discounts.

My Best Buy store would not allow me to use both the store’s $10 off offer and the coupons (they called it double-dipping), so I had to purchase the movies separately @24.99 ea. minus the coupon for each one. I still consider this a great deal with the movie tickets included and I have a Best Buy Reward Zone card which means I’ll be issued a reward certificate somewhere down the line.

anyone else gonna try to PM the BB offer for $10 off both movies at Target and use some Bunny Munny to get more off(saw the idea at the blu ray forum)? the absolute best price for the movies if Target is really nice would be:
Cars Gift Set $24.99-$5 Bunny Munny-$8 DMR Q=$11.99
Incredibles BB Price Match $24.99-$5 Bunny Munny-$10 DMR Q=$9.99
-$10 PM for buying both
=$11.98 for Cars Gift Set and Incredibles

I’m really confused by this. What is Bunny Munny? Where do you get the $5 off coupon from?

Reply

19 fringescience April 9, 2011 at 4:32 am

Bunny Munny is a Target Coupon for $5 off a Disney Blu ray $24.99 or more. It was sent in random easter mailers and some people got extras from neighbors…or printed scans…which I wouldn’t necessarily recommend though some Targets will accept them.

to find the thread that I read the most info about the Bunny Munny in I’d recommend googling “dvd talk forum Target $5 Disney Blu-ray Coupon” it’s like the first result listed.

Unless they changed it very recently Target will only Price Match and use a Target Store coupon for the difference. Say the item is $28 and your price matching it to $25 then your target coupon or bunny money is only worth $2 instead of the $5.

when they had the coupon right before Thanksgiving I was able to do several price matches and THEN use the $5 coupon (getting the extra $5 off).
I’ll just have them PM at the beginning and ring up everything else up then use the Bunny Munny and the DMR Q. hopefully it will work again. if not I won’t PM the Incredibles.

thankfully not all Target employees know all the corporate rules though I do carry around a printout of corporate’s policy for Target Coupons and Manf. coupons

thanks for the warning. I forgot about that rule

Id like to know where you found this offer. I have been searching for it all over their website and I can not find it. Although, I found an offer for Harry Potter in which they will deduct $10 if you purchase two items. I don’t want to go to Best Buy and purchase the items with the coupons but not get the additional $10 off, that would be embarrassing.

It was in this Sunday’s ad. :)

they probably won’t show the deal until Sunday since that’s when the new ad is out.
The Examiner reported about that particular deal recently though that’s where I got my first visual of the ad. The article is titled “April 10 – 16, 2011: Best Buy Ad Prices for DVD and Blu-ray deals” http : / / www . examiner . com / dvd – in – new – york / april – 10 – 16 – 2011 – best – buy – ad – prices – for – dvd – and – blu – ray – deals

Wow, great deal! I think the total you pay (ignoring taxes) is slightly better than you state, though. It’s $21.96, not $21.98. Hey, every penny counts, right? :-)

I don’t understand where the $5.46 total comes from, though? If you substract $8.50 twice from $21.96, you get $4.96. Am I missing 50 cents somewhere?

I think you have to take the $8.50 amount with a grain of salt, though. For example, for me, movie tickets are worth only $5 because that’s what we pay to see movies at AMC before noon. Of course, it’s nice to be able to have more flexibility as to when to watch the movie, but since I wouldn’t normally pay for that flexibility, I wouldn’t consider the ticket to be worth more than $5, even though it’s a “better” ticket than a $5 one.

So for me, I would say, this deal is like paying $11.96 (ignoring tax) for both movies, which is still an awesome deal!

Went to Best Buy to buy the Disney movies and computer would not take the Disney coupons. Did anyone else try this deal and succeed?

I just bought both movies at Best Buy in Mesa, AZ. Since I bought them together, they took off the $10.00 dollars and then scanned both coupons for the additional $18.00 dollars off. I had no problems.

This morning I went to Best Buy when they opened and I had no problems whatsoever. They had like 6 copies of Cars and 12 copies of incredibles on a table in the front with some other feature items. There was hardly any customers at the store. The cashier rang both up, the $10 discount popped up and she applied it, and after that she applied each of the manufacturer coupons. I was just surprised that tax was at least $3.

If you have the option to chose, I usually go for the young ones since they seem or tend to be more lenient, but then again, who knows.

Also, make sure you check the back. I would think they would have a decent sized stock or else, after 5 people, their entire stock could potentially be gone. After all, the newspaper ad even says there’s a limit of 5 you can get.

I just bought these and had trouble with the coupons but upon inspection the store manager OK’d them to be put in manually. One of the coupons came up as cinderella or some other disney movie. Best Buy was not prepared for these coupons. If they knew about them I bet they wouldn’t have offered the $10.00 for buying both. I told them that the coupons were accepted at walmart and if there was a problem I would just have walmart price match them. So with persistence you too can get this awesome deal for 21.98 + tax which =25.28 where I am In Lake Worth, TX

My target did match this (take in actual BB ad, not a print-out). They marked both down to = $40 total and then applied my $10/$8 rebates. Then use your target debit/credit card to get an extra 5%.

Do this at the customer service area, the cashier/electronics area people said they wouldn’t match but after talking to guest services the manager came over and said they would.
