Disney Training: More autograph books from the readers…

in Disney World Tips and Tricks,Disney World Training

1. From my reader Kat: My friends are going on their first WDW vacation next week. I had SO much fun making them a custom autograph book! I LOVED the fuss the CM’s made over our handmade book last fall, so I had to share that magic with our friends! I made it with my Cricut. I’m looking forward to making one for us for our September trip!

2. From my reader Ashley: My inlaws had never been to Disney. So we decided to take them on a surprise trip. My inlaws parents had last been when Disney World first opened. So this was quite the treat. Sister in law had never been. These are the autograph books I made them.

3-5. From my reader Jeananne: Attached are some pictures of a few books I made. I also downloaded the pages from Disigners. I grouped the characters into sets and made divider pages. When I was making my daughter’s book, she wanted to help so she made her own divider pages as you will see!

6-8. From my reader Kim: My mom created this autograph book for my son. It is amazing. Each page is appliqued and it was the talk of each autograph session. The front is corduroy and the pages are a heavy twill and are double sided. She does sell them and they take about 3 weeks to make. They can be personalized as well. It is simply beautiful. Hope you like the pictures.

9-12. From my reader Paula: I made clipboards for my girls for our first trip in 2009. I have white cardstock squares cut 5×5 and kept them in a ziploc. Once a character signed a square I would drop it in the ziplock or to the back of the stack. When I got home I made there autograph book with the signed card and a picture I took for them with the character. When we go back in May I wil take a the clipboard and cards again to get any autographs we missed. I can always add pages to the book I made from our last trip.

Hi! My mom can customize these actually to a certain extent. Meaning the character has to be available to applique. But she does all the work herself. We sell them on Etsy under red32designs. Let us know what you think

We are on Etsy actually under Red32designs. My mom can customize these books to a certain extent. Meaning if the character can be appliqued we can do it. It is an A to z book except on X page it is xtra for those xtra characters you don’t think you will come across.

Such CUTE ideas. Wish my kids weren’t grown because they’re too old to do the autographs.

What is ” Disigners”? (pics 3-5) I goodled it, but I couldn’t come up with anything. We are going in July and I made some books before, but these are so much cuter. You are right the CM always talk about what isn’t “store” bought. Let’s face it, it would be cheaper to just buy the Disney ones, but I think that ours are much better. :)

Ok trying to post this one more time…if my last 2 are in moderation and I didn’t realize, I apologize feel free to delete this! :)
Jen,
The DISigners are on a Disney Chat board…all things Disney. There is a forum where some very amazingly creative ppl make custom images for free, that you can then print onto everything from shirts, to sippy cup labels, and of course autograph pages. Here is the link to the Disigners forum, you need to register to request designs but it is free and super easy. You will spend HOURS trying to pick the ones you like best…soooo many wonderful disigners!
Let me know if you can see the link
