in Getting Started Couponing

If you have a group of friends who love to coupon, consider having a monthly coupon party. Get together and enjoy a delicious meal while you swap coupons, compare bargain hunting stories, etc. You could meet at one friend’s house or at your favorite restaurant.

If you are new to Couponing, you might want to take a moment to read more in my Getting Started Couponing series. It will teach you how to coupon like I do!

I’ve been thinking about doing this, it sounds fun! It would be fun to get a diverse group together—- young, older, various stages in life, various people with different occupations. I’d like to hear the various ways people save and spend their money.

I have a group of friends and we all get together every Monday for “Coffee and Coupons” we all bring our kids, so its like a play date, its at a friends house, we take turns bring snack and someone makes coffee. We talk about the deals for that week and share coupons! Its really a fun time.

I am in a coupon swap through some friends on Facebook. We exchange coupons and addresses. that way we buy less papers and get the coupons we want with just a cost of a stamp!

I host a “Coupon Swap” 1 to 2xs a month. It is so much fun. We get together talk about couponing, and swap coupons we don’t use. I usually serve one cocktail, and snacks (only bought with coupons), My next topic is menu planning. many of us noticed that we have problems planning meals because we were so focused on our stock piles we forgot to buy the basics to have meals. The topic I will be discussing after that is how to coupon with dietary needs (gluten free, nut allergy etc).

This is a great idea. I trade coupons with friends at work- we bring our inserts to our break room, pass them around, and clip coupons over lunch.
