I would think you would have to do this in a couple different transactions because they would give you 50% off the cheaper items. If you bought the blush and the other items in the same transaction, they would charge you full price for 2 of the other items plus 2 of the blush, and then charge you half price for the rest of the blush. So just do the 6 blushes all together in one transaction and do the more expensive items in a separate transaction. It should generate the gift card once you make the 2nd transaction.

Thank you!!!
Today CVS gave me almost $50 (I had to pay only 86c per transaction…) to take about $150 in cosmetics out of their store! I don’t wear makeup, so the local womens shelter will be getting a call. Everybody wins!

I had 4 more coupons and I gave them to the cashier…I hope she uses them to get an extra $10 in her pocket. She is super sweet and deserves a boost!
I sincerely appreciate the matchups. Love your site!

@Tabitha—-ok so how did you do that? I usually toss the makeup coupons because I do not wear a lot of make-up (usually none) and I do not want to spend a lot on stuff I will hardly (if ever wear) but I would love to get the extra cash.
Thanks

@paula – I really just followed the scenarios above except the prices were a bit different at my cvs, but I just figured out the best configuration I would have to buy to make $30 in products (that is what it took to get the gift cards) also remembering to take into account that my coupons covered 8 items… for me it was 6 blushers and 2 eye shadows. came to about $31 ish, I used the 4@ $8 off 2 items coupons & I only had to pay what was left of the tax. which ended up at less than a dollar per transaction. multiply times 5 and you have $50 bucks that you didn’t a few minutes ago!

Also if you do this by Oct. 31st don’t forget about the P&G $10 rebate when you buy $50 of product (before coupons)
