Getting Started Couponing: Check Rest Stops and Welcome Centers for coupons

in Getting Started Couponing

I asked my Facebook friends to share some of their best Couponing Tips. This one comes from my reader Heather and Jennifer:

The hotels and welcome centers also have coupons for the area including discounted meals, shopping etc. I know that is not specifically for couponing like for everyday groceries, but when we travel, I still use those coupons!

You can even stop by the Rest Stops, Welcome Centers, and Hotel Lobby’s in your local area to see if there are any coupons available for places you frequent often.

If you are new to Couponing, you might want to take a moment to read more in my Getting Started Couponing series. It will teach you how to coupon like I do!

Its also good to look for billboards that reflect a certain price. When you go in to inquire, ask for “the Billoard rate”

Post office has Lowes coupons in address change packets. we just recently moved to a new area and stumbled across this. It also had some Best Buy and Sears coupons.

I’ve also been able to pick up a few coupons at 7-eleven’s before and use them for snacks or drinks at my local grocery store. I’ve gotten some pretty cheap on the go drinks this way! Since, they are MF coupons, I haven’t had any problems with the grocery store taking them as long as they carry the item.
