Welcome to the facelift of Couponing to Disney. I hope you like it as much as I do!

You’ll find the menu bar above to be easy to navigate. I’ve tried to put every single category and feature that you might use in the toolbar.

I also put the follow and contact buttons on the left side. Notice how Mickey heads follow you as you scroll down. ;)

Plus be sure to check out the new Submit a Deal feature. I think we will both benefit from that one!

Let me know what you think and if you notice any bugs that we need to fix!

Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney.

Great News Disney has updated the Disney Dining Plan for 2012! They have added more restaurants giving you even more dining options. Be sure to check out this post for more information on the 2012 Dining Plan Changes.

Here are the additions to the 2012 Disney Dining Plan:

New Table Service Dining Locations Include:

New Quick-Service Dining Locations Include:

  • Landscapes Cafe at the new Art of Animation Resort
  • The Paddock Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
  • Katsura Grill at Epcot-World Showcase at Japan
  • Bongo’s Cuban Sandwich Window at Downtown Disney
  • Marketplace Snacks at Downtown Disney

As always don’t be afraid to call Disney or ask a specific restaurant if they are covered under the Disney Dining Plan. Most times even if they are not on the list they will take you. For example last January San Angel Inn was not on the list but just out of curiosity I went there at lunch time and asked and they said sure come on in. So you never know till you ask.

Today through Monday, Amazon is having a $1.99 movie sale!  You can stream the following movies through Amazon Video on Demand for only $1.99:

  • The Smurfs
  • Colombiana
  • Mr. Popper’s Penguins
  • Glee the Concert Movie

Looking for a great series?  I’d recommend catching up on the first season of Pan Am for FREE!

How does Amazon Video Rentals work? When you purchase the movie rental, you have up to 30 days to start watching the movie. So even if you pay for it today (while it is such a great deal; normal rental price is $3.99 per movie), you could wait and watch it this weekend, 3 weeks from now, whatever fits into your schedule. Once you click the play button, you have 48 hours to finish watching your movie.

You can watch Amazon Rentals on your computer, Kindle Fire, Roku Player, TiVo and Select Blu-Ray players (that allow for streaming). I use a HDMI cable to hook my laptop into my television to watch the movie. It works great!

Log into your CVS.com Extra Care Account and check to see if you got the $5 off $25 in-store coupon. I did! My coupon is good thru 1/3/12 and it will pair nicely with the upcoming sales.

I’m excited because I have $0 in Extra Care Bucks.

(Thanks Hip2Save!)

If you are new to shopping at Rite Aid, be sure to read this tutorial. How to use Rite Aid to “Coupon to Disney”:

  • Save on items that you normally buy. You can usually get free shampoo, conditioner, razors, toothbrushes, etc here. I also find that they have fairly cheap soda too.
  • After you have shopped here a few weeks, you will start to build up your Up Rewards. Rite Aid usually has 1 or 2 ‘money making’ deals a week. By using Up Rewards to pay for items, you essentially eliminate your out of pocket costs and get everything you buy at Rite Aid for ‘free’.
  • Rite Aid has monthly rebates called Single Check Rewards (SCR). Use Up Rewards to pay for the items that are eligible for the SCR. When the check comes from Rite Aid each month, deposit it into your fund!
  • Use your Up Rewards to pay for items that are eligible for rebates. When the check arrives, deposit it into your fund!
  • Use your Up Rewards to pay for items that you were going to pay cash for. Take the cash you were going to spend and deposit it into your fund!
  • Be sure to read the Getting Started Couponing to Disney guide!

Create your personal shopping list: Click on the box next to each item you would like to purchase and then click on the print list button at the bottom to print your own personal shopping list! All prices on this list are per item.

There will be a 4 inserts in this Sunday’s paper.

When you are getting started couponing, it can be hard to know how many papers to purchase. I’ve always suggested purchasing at least 4 papers. This is because when items go on sale buy one, get one free you will have enough coupons to get 2 deals.

I have also heard people suggest that you get one paper per person in your household plus an extra paper. So if you have 4 family members, you would buy 5 papers.

You can also read through the comments on this post to find out how many papers my readers buy and why.
