Do you want to know how to find the best deals on toilet paper? There is 1-ply, 2-ply, double rolls, triple rolls, mega rolls and more. The possibilities seem endless and it can be confusing to know which brand and size gets you the best value for your buck.
My blogging pal Karrie over at Happy Money Saver did a research project and got to the bottom of it all. She compared prices at Walmart, Target, Winco, Costco and Cash n Carry. She made a spreadsheet to calculate price per sq. ft as well as the ply/softness. You can print out her data from a spreadsheet to keep with you when you are shopping at the stores. That way you can compare these prices and figure out the prices per sq. ft and see if it’s a good deal or not.
She also takes it a step further and teaches you how you can calculate the best price based on square footage. This is something that I didn’t even know how to do!

Thank you! I have always suspected that I was not getting the best deal just working out price per roll. My only prob. with the 1-ply is that my kids think they need to use more of it since it’s so thin, thus cancelling out savings. Good thing I have boys, though!
