School is out and summer vacations are in full swing. For many, the summer months are the only time they can go. Furthermore, locals and annual passholders are visiting more as well. Crowds begin Memorial Day weekend and continue through the end of August, depending when schools begin. The busiest time of the summer is the week of 4th of July.
Weather
June has an average daily temperature of 91°. July has the highest average daily temperatures out of the whole year. While, August is among the most humid time to visit Orlando all year. The summer months are in peak travel season for Disney World, therefore prices go up on Disney Resorts. Unless you are lucky enough to receive a pin code, you will be paying peak season prices. Least expensive months to travel include September and January.
Long Lines
Expect lines at Disney World, and an increase in wait times during the summer. Since more guests are visiting, Fastpass+ and Dining Reservations fill up quicker, creating an increase in stand-by lines. Guests can avoid this by having an early start at the parks, or by staying late. Lines will peak in the afternoon at the parks.
