Disney World is plentiful of fun activities in addition to the rides. Consider these 5 activities that are not only free (with park ticket), but fun for children at Disney’s Epcot.
1. Train Display in Germany
Located between Germany and Italy, off the beaten path is an adorable miniature train display. Walk along an adorable pathway and see the tiny villages and trains. This is a fun way to spend a few minutes resting. Walt Disney himself loved Trains.
2. Spaceship Earth
Guests existing Spaceship Earth will find an interactive space to explore called, Project Tomorrow. Activities include: Body Builder, Power City, Innervision and Super Driver. You may experience this with or without riding Spaceship Earth, simply enter through the back entrance. Spaceship Earth can be found inside the iconic “Ball”.
3. Kidcot Stations in Epcot
Each country has a Kidcot Station where the kids can color a free keepsake. Then travel to each country to get a special stamp. Each country’s Kidcot Station is manned by a Cast Member from that country. Visit any Kidcot Station in Disney’s Epcot World Showcase to pick up your cut out to get started. This makes a free souvenir as well.
4. JaMMitors in Epcot
Catch a glimpse of the JAMMitors in Epcot. They are a clean-up crew that entertains guests by playing their janitor equipment. They have been performing at Epcot since 1996. They make some impressive percussion happen.
5. Visit a Splash Pad
Epcot has 2 fun locations to run through water and splash with squirting fountains. Pack a bathing suit, or spend a quick few minutes to cool off. Especially with the Florida heat, this is a perfect fun activity for children. Locations are outside Innoventions or Mission: SPACE.
