Disney World is full of fun experiences to have, from attractions to dining and more. Some things are must do’s for every trip such as riding Dumbo and taking pictures in front of Cinderella’s Castle. However, some things are better as a one and done experience. While I would or have tried these 5 below, they are a one and done at Disney World.
1. Signature Dining Experience
Disney World is home to amazing food and even more true in the signature dining experiences found throughout the property. Learn 9 Disney World restaurants worth dressing up for. Do note, a dress code is in place for these restaurants. They are perfect for celebrating an anniversary, birthday or another special occasion. These restaurants are certainly not for everyday dinner, however worth trying once. Of this list, Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the strictest dress code.
2. Stay Club Level
Want to experience Disney World in luxury once? Read, 7 reasons to stay Club Level Once at Disney World. Club Level rooms are found in Deluxe Disney Resorts, which offer close proximately to Disney Parks (such as monorail to Magic Kingdom from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa). Club level offers extra services and amenities not found with other rooms in Disney World. However, it does come with a price tag which makes it a one and done for most.
3. Pick-A-Pearl
Guests can pick-a-pearl in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot or in Disney Springs. The initial pearl picking only costs about $20. However once you are there it is hard to resist buying a necklace (chain and pearl cage sold separately) and more options when complete can easily run over $100. This was a one and done for me, I love my necklace but I don’t need anymore! I chose the one in the Japan Pavilion and loved the experience.
4. The Beverly
Visit The Coca-Cola Store in Disney Springs and order the flights of sodas from around the world. Perhaps the most famous of these is The Beverly for its unique taste. I have tried The Beverly and once was enough for me. Although it is fun to return with unsuspecting family and friends try it for the first time. Have the camera ready for reactions, they can be quite funny. The Beverly is definitely something to try once.
5. Hall of Presidents
I love the history behind this attraction and the animatronics, however it is a one and done for me and not an attraction we do every trip. Guests can find The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square of Magic Kingdom, showcasing every U.S. President. The Hall of Presidents has show length of 21 minutes. Another long attraction, American Adventure in Epcot was also a one and done, at 28 minutes. The only exception is these are great to head into for afternoon rain showers.
