The cost is normally $169 (at least 3 days prior) or $199. However, Military Personnel can purchase at the special price of $98 (valid through 12/19/19).
3. Discount on Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
Another benefit are discounts on select Walt Disney World Resort stays. Resorts often include Value, Moderate or Deluxe to choose from at 30%-40% off room rates (discounts may vary year to year). Guests on any budget can stay within the magic and save.
4. Shades Of Green
Shades of Green is offered to active or retired military, DOD civilians and US Public Health Officers. The Resort offers beautiful accommodations on Disney Property, with 586 spacious rooms. It is owned by the Department of Defense. Shades of Green is located near Magic Kingdom park, and has special packages for U.S. military & families. Learn more and read an excellent review here.
5. Flag Retreat
At Magic Kingdom, any guest can stop to watch a wonderful Flag Retreat. Watch the American Flag retire for the evening every night at 5pm on Main St USA. Interestingly, this is the only real American Flag in the park, therefore the only one that needs to stay in co ordinance with the U.S. Flag Code. This code requires U.S. Flags to be displayed outdoors sunrise to sunset only. Look closely and notice the other flags contain an incorrect amount of stars or stripes, preventing the need to bring them in each evening. Watch this beautiful display of patriotism daily.
