If you are planning on taking the grandparents with you on your vacation, here are 5 ways to make a Disney trip special for grandparents:
1. Schedule Tea – The Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian would be a great experience for grandmothers and their granddaughters.
2. Love on little ones – This tip comes from Julia and it is so sweet: “Mine love holding my little ones since they are too small for most rides as they watch their own children turn back into children on the rides.”
3. Celebrate – Mark all your dining reservations that you are celebrating Grandma and Grandpa’s trip. Get Celebrating buttons and write that on them. Maybe even get matching ears.
4. Get them in the pictures – Don’t let them duck out of the pictures. Get them involved in pictures in front of the park icons and with the characters. They are great memories to create for yourself and your children.
5. Take turns – Have them alternate between which kids they ride with on each ride. This way they have a chance to create special memories with each of their grandchildren.
And you might even consider letting the grandparents have a special time to themselves away from everyone else.
