1. Disneyland Railroad
The Disneyland Railroad is an easy way to pass by the crowds, and take a break at Disneyland Park. Guests can enjoy an 18-minute scenic ride. Or, get on/off at any of the 4 stops: Main St USA, Tomorrowland, New Orleans Square and Mickey’s Toontown. Trains are continuous throughout the day, scheduled every 5-10 minutes. There are 5 current running trains to transport guests, with this convenient way to get around. Walt Disney himself loved trains.
2. MaxPass
Disneyland Resort rolled out Disney MaxPass starting summer 2017 for guests. This extra can save guests time in line waiting for attractions and running to a FASTPASS kiosk. Benefits of MaxPass include unlimited digital downloads for daily Disney PhotoPass and the ease of booking more than 15 options for Disney FASTPASS selections through the Disneyland App. This includes attractions such as Toy Story Mania, Matterhorn Bobsleds and more. Cost is $10 per day per ticket. Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders have the option to buy MaxPass at a flat rate of $75, good for the life of their passport. Signature Plus passholders will receive Disney MaxPass benefit at no cost. Guests may still obtain free FASTPASS at the kiosks for Disneyland Resort.
3. Single Line Rider
Single Line Rider is offered at select popular attractions. These lines allow guests to enter as a single rider and enjoy shorter lines. 4. Mobile Ordering
Mobile Ordering allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food, saving time waiting in line. Mobile Ordering recently expanded through the Disneyland App and now accommodates more than 20 participating locations. Newest additions include Edelweiss Snacks, Refreshment Corner, Royal Street Veranda and Stage Door Café. Order anywhere on Disneyland Resort, even while in line for an attraction!
5. Extra Magic Hour
One of the benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel for guests is Extra Magic Hour (must have valid theme park ticket and active hotel room key card). This entitles guests to enjoy one extra hour to select stores, entertainment, dining and attractions before park opening to public. Choose Disneyland Park on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday or Disney California Adventure Park on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.
6. Baby Care Center
If you are traveling with a little one, be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Station at Disneyland. The Disneyland Park location is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. In California Adventure, it is located next to Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Pacific Wharf. Guests will find changing stations, a kitchen with a microwave and sink, a tv room showing Disney cartoons and more. They are have diapers and more baby needs for sale. This is the perfect spot to freshen up your little one away from the crowds.
