Guests of Disney World will find water features throughout the entire property. Water is used as a focal point at Fountains and more. Learn 7 best water features at Disney World.
1. Fountains
Fountains are used throughout Disney World and they make great picture points. There are 2 on Main St USA in Magic Kingdom, prior to Cinderella’s Castle. There is a lovely water fountain in the France Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase guests will want to check out too.
2. Waterfalls
Outside the Imagination Pavilion in Epcot is a waterfall that flows backwards, up instead of down! To name a couple more, waterfalls can also be found in the queue of Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid and in the Canada pavilion of the World Showcase at Epcot.
3. Splashpads
Let your little one run around on a splash pad at Epcot. Bring a change of clothes or bathing suit. Find them outside Mission: SPACE or Innoventions. This is a great way for little ones to cool down and take a break. There is also a splashpad located at Disney Springs, which costs nothing to enter.
4. Casey Jr. Splash N Soak Station
In Fantasyland, at Magic Kingdom, is the Casey Jr. Splash N Soak Station, located in Storybook Circus near the train station. This fun area offers water play with circus trains inspired from the movie, Dumbo. Bring a bathing suit or change of clothes.
5. Pools
Every Disney World Resort has a themed pool, some even have quiet pools in addition. It may be tempting to spend every minute at the parks, however save some time to relax by the pool. It is these simple memories children often remember most. Plus, if you are staying at a Moderate or Deluxe Resort your main Resort pool will have a Waterslide.
6. Surprising Water
Disney World also uses water to surprise guests. It is funny to see unsuspecting guests walk by the camel near The Magic Carpets of Aladdin attraction in Magic Kingdom. He will “spit” water on you. Another surprising water feature can be found in Epcot, outside the Imagination Pavilion, is jumping water.
7. Boat Rides
Disney World uses boats as a mode of transportation and recreation. For example, guests of Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter can take a relaxing boat ride to Disney Springs instead of a bus. Boat Rides are also used on many attractions, read Disney’s Best Boat Ride Attractions.
