Disney World is filled with attractions, shows, shopping and more. For those who want some unique experiences, consider these 7 hidden extras around Disney World. These hidden gems include photo booths, a miniature train village and more lesser known extras.
1. Photo Booths
Who doesn’t love a good photo booth? Did you know there are a few located in Disney World? Best of all, if you purchased Memory Maker these are included.
Find Photo Booths at Disney World:
- Near Space Mountain exit at Magic Kingdom
- Near Journey Into Imagination with Figment exit at Epcot
- In Dinoland, near Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom.
- Disney’s Boardwalk contains one as well.
2. DiVine
DiVine in Animal Kingdom found located in the Oasis. She is 10 feet tall, in a beautiful costume designed to look like a vine, performed by the artist Priscilla Blight. Look closely to see her moving disguised in the foliage.
Look for Luxo Jr. (the iconic Pixar lamp) to make an appearance from a second story window.
3. Playground at Splash Mountain
There is the most adorable playground located near the exit of Splash Mountain. This area is pretty well hidden and if you do not know about it, it’s easily missed. This is a great spot for adults to wait with little ones while the rest of the group rides Splash Mountain or Thunder Mountain.
4. Jeweled Dragon Acrobats
Take the time out to enjoy the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats show in the China Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. This show lasts 20 minutes, be amazed with acts of balance and agility.
5. Rocking Chairs
Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom is one of the most educational areas of Disney World. Read 5 Things People Don’t Notice in Liberty Square. Then take time to relax in the Rocking Chairs, tucked in a cozy area of the Magic Kingdom.
6. Epcot Garden Railway
Originally made for an International Flower & Garden Festival, the miniature Bavarian village has been there ever since. 7. The Kiss Goodnight
Not so hidden, as long as you know about it is The Kiss Goodnight, occurring at Cinderella’s Castle. The Kiss Goodnight lasts for 2-minutes saying “good night” to guests leaving Magic Kingdom. It occurs every 30-minutes after Magic Kingdom closes. Read the full Description on The Kiss Goodnight.
