If you have not been to Disneyland Resort in recent years, there were 7 New Dining Experiences added from 2018-early 2019. This includes a new favorite ice cream spot in Downtown Disney and more!
1. The Tropical Hideaway (Opened December 2018)
Find this new marketplace area between Jungle Cruise & Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Access The Tropical Hideaway by a main bridge, through Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Or, from a path from the Jungle Cruise named, Skipper’s Walk. Relax by the water, with bites to eat while surrounded by tiki torches and more. Find colorful wildlife at the Hideaway and Enchanted Tiki Room birds in small birdhouses, at the roofline. Plus, Rosita now greets guests on the dock, making small talk with visitors.
2. Mickey’s Tales Of Adventure Breakfast At Storytellers Café (Opened July 2018)
Guests can find Storytellers Café inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, recently named 2019 Forbes Travel Guide Star Award winner. For a Visit with the mouse himself, Mickey Mouse and friends are featured here. Of course Mickey Shaped waffles are offered, plus baked goods, fresh fruit and made to order omelets. This is the only Character meal with a guaranteed meet & greet with Mickey Mouse.
3. Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast At Disney’s PCH Grill (Opened July 2018)
Disney’s PCH Grill is found at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. This character dining experience features the not to be forgotten, Donald Duck! The all you care to enjoy menu includes eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, chicken & waffles, chilaquiles, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. In addition to Mickey waffles, try the Minnie pancakes. Plus, pick eaters will love the build-your-own parfait stations.
4. Salt & Straw (Opened October, 2018)
Stop by Salt & Straw at Downtown Disney Distric. This ice-cream scoop shop uses artisan unique flavors made from organic, local and sustainable ingredients. Plus seasonal flavors, such as The Great Candycopia, Creepy Crawly Critters or Mummy’s Pumpkin Spiked Potion (21+).
5. Ballast Point Brewing Company (Opened January, 2019)
Ballast Point Brewing Company is Downtown Disney District’s first-ever brewery. The restaurant is family friendly restaurant space and a bar space, totaling 4,000 square feet. Plus, outdoor dining. Offering, World-Class Beer (with over 50 on tap), a family friendly menu and a merchandise area. Plus, this eatery does good by donating $1 to No Kid Hungry for every kids meal sold.
6. Donald Duck’s Seaside Brunch At Disney’s PCH Grill (Opened March 29, 2019)
Disney’s PCH Grill is found at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, featuring another opportunity to hang with Donald Duck and friends. Enjoy an array of all you care to eat brunch, including breakfast favorites and lunch specials. Dining experience is offered each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
7. Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures At Napa Rose (Opened March 30, 2019)
Guests can enjoy Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose located inside Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Your reservation includes 5 hours free parking (after validation) at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Enjoy a 3-course breakfast with sparkling beverages and champagne for adults 21+. Meet & Greet with Disney Princesses such as Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Tiana and more while you dine on breakfast. Children can listen to a story on the patio, learning to dream big and being your true self. Share moments with Mulan, as she has children strike their best warrior pose and Rapunzel, who shares the courage of exploration. End the breakfast with a farewell photo and special treasures to keep. Cost is $125 per person for children or adults. Tax and tip not included.
