1. Last Minute Dining Reservations
Many prime time dining reservations may have been already booked if you are beyond the 180 day mark. However, patience and persistence can pay off. 2. Quick Service
For guests who prefer more time in the park, choose quick service meals. Also great for last minute trips, since no dining reservations are needed. Hot Tip – Download the My Disney Experience App and use Mobile Ordering for select quick service dining locations throughout Disney World and skip the lines for dining all together! 3. Fastpass+
Guests staying at a Disney World Resort can book their Fastpass+ 60 days out from arrival date (non-resort guests at 30 days out). If you are beyond these dates, all hope is not lost. Just like with dining reservations, the My Disney Experience App will be your friend. Just keep trying.
4. Be Flexible with Dates
If you want to plan a last minute trip to Disney World trip, be flexible on your dates. For instance, if the resort you want is sold out, sometimes only a few days off from your original plan can get you there.
5. Split Stay
If you can’t decide between 2 resorts on Walt Disney World property, or there is limited availability, you might want do a split resort stay at Walt Disney World Resorts. This is when you check into one Disney World resort for a few days and then transfer to another resort for the duration of your stay. Split stays are also great for those that don’t want to pay for the dining plan for the entire length of your stay.
6. MagicBand
Be sure to customize your MagicBands (for guests with a vacation package or room only reservation + tickets). For those with Disney vacation 11 days out, there is still enough time to customize (name, color) and have shipped to your home (act fast). For guests with a Disney vacation 6-10 days out, customize your MagicBand online and pick up at your Disney World resort check-in. For guests with a vacation 5 days of less, receive your non customized MagicBand at resort check-in.
