Out of the 4 theme parks at Walt Disney World, Epcot has potential for the most walking. Between attractions at Future World and exploring the World Showcase, Epcot covers much ground. Sometimes you just need a rest to refresh before you keep going. If you find yourself at Epcot and in need of a break, these 9 attractions and destinations are the best places for a cat nap, or just a break from the heat. Plus, learn how long you can rest at each!
Spaceship Earth
Spaceship Earth allows guests 16 minutes of rest in a slow, dark ride. The attraction is found in Future World, within “The Ball”. Sit back and relax in your ride cart as you slowly journey through time.
The American Adventure
The American Adventure is found in The American Pavilion at the World Showcase, see a show on American History. The theatre is dark, the seats are comfortable and the show is 30 minutes long. Making this show the perfect cat nap opportunity.
Movies
Canada, France and China all have movies in their pavilions. Head in for a a/c and a little reprieve from the crowds.
Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is a 4-D film festival found in Future World. This attraction allows guests 18 minutes to rest in an air conditioned theatre, with comfortable chairs. Also, when the show starts, the lights go down.
Living with the Land
This slow boat ride is a nice rest for your aching legs.
Member Lounge (DVC)
Exclusively for DVC (Disney Vacation Club) members is a lounge found at the Imagination! Pavilion in Future World. Open daily from 10am-6pm, members can enjoy: Comfortable seating, Complimentary soft drinks, Children’s play area, Wi-Fi, Charging stations and more. No Time Limit.
Baby Care Center
Found at all 4 parks, including Epcot. These centers provide families with young children: nursing areas, feeding areas with high chairs, a Main room with television, table, chairs and sofa and more. Sounds like the perfect place for a break. No Time Limit.
Skyliner
If you want to venture right outside Epcot, you can board the Skyliner for a tour of the resorts.
