If you are heading to Walt Disney World with an infant or toddler, there is one thing you absolutely have to know about. This thing will make your day in the theme parks so much easier!
I am talking about the Baby Care Centers in the parks. Every theme park has one and each one is stocked with all the necessities you need to take care of your baby.
1. Changing tables – Unlike the ones in the restrooms, these are huge tables where you can spread out all of your items. It is a great place to change outfits and apply sunscreen.
2. Private nursing rooms – If you are a nursing or a pumping mom, there is a private nursing room in the Baby Care Centers. Only nursing moms and their babies are allowed in this room. At Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios it is a completely private room. At Epcot and Magic Kingdom it is a larger room with multiple rocking chairs that can be turned to face the wall. All rooms are low lit to create a sleep inducing environment for baby.
3. Toddler room – This room has a Disney movie playing round the clock. It also has little tables and chairs and there are usually coloring pages available. It is a great place to decompress or hang out with Dad while Mom feeds the younger sibling.
4. High chairs – Need to feed junior in a distraction free setting? There are high chairs available for use in the toddler room.
5. Microwaves – Need to heat up food for your child? Baby Care Centers are all stocked with a microwave for Guests to use. They also have bottle warmers.
6. Hot/cold filtered water – Refresh with some chilled water or fill up a bottle with hot water. Both are readily available in the kitchen area.
7. Supplies – If you have ran out of food, formula, diaper rash or even lost the paci, you can restock with supplies available for purchase in the Baby Care Center.
Make sure you visit the Baby Care Center on your first park day to see if it will benefit your family during your trip.
