Here is a really great opportunity to earn Extra Care Bucks by doing surveys for CVS. It’s called The CVS Advisor Panel and ever so often you will get email invitations to do surveys for ECBs! I just completed a very easy survey and I made $5 in ECBs! It took like 3 minutes.{ 17 comments }
A lot of CVS stores have a scanner machine like pictured above. You can scan your card at this machine and it will print out store coupons that are tied to your card. (It’s almost like playing the slot machines. You just don’t know what you are going to get!)
You can visit IHeartCVS.com to see a list of all the current scanner coupons.
Coupons printed at the scanner also print at the register on the bottom of your receipt. This type of coupon is referred to as Cash Register Tape coupon or CRT.
When I tell you to scan your card at the scanner, this is what I am referring too.
Be sure to check out the various ways to save at CVS.

CVS emails and mails their card holders coupons ever so often. These can be anything from $4 off a $20 purchase to a percentage off a specific item. Be sure all your contact information is up to date for your card.
You can register or change your personal information for your card at CVS.com.

CVS is going green! They have a new card called Green Bag Tag for sale in their stores. (Likely found by the registers.) It retails for 99c. It includes a leaf shaped scannable card that attaches to your favorite reusable bag. Each time you visit CVS and bring your reusable bag, they will scan your Green Bag Tag. The 4th time they scan your tag, you will earn a $1 Extra Care Buck that will print on your receipt. Wow!
Fine print on the back of the display the tag was on states:
“To earn Extra bucks for a transaction in store, your Extra care card, green bag tag, and reusable bag must be presented w/ purchase at checkout. Limit of one green tag use/scan per day per household. Every 4th purchase your ECB will print at the bottom of your cash register receipt as a $1 coupon good for your next purchase. Extra bucks can be used until the exp. date shown on the coupon….”
How will this benefit you? Well if you only go to CVS once a week, you’ll earn $13 a year just by bringing your bag! If you go 4 times a week, that’s $52 in a year! If you shopped at CVS every day, you would make $91 in a year!
See all the CVS deals here.

Did you know that you could make money off your prescriptions? It’s true! Most stores offer gift card offers if you fill a new or transferred prescription with them. All you do is present your coupon for the gift card and pay for your prescription and you receive a gift card that can be used on anything in the store (except to pay for prescriptions).
Be sure to check out Centsable Momma. She posts all the current gift card offers.
