If so, I challenge you to find a new home for just 25 items a day for the next 30 days. This could be 25 articles of clothing, 25 books you no longer read, 25 toys your kids ignore. Have a box for items to donations, a box for items to sell and throw the rest away! At the end of the challenge, have a yard sale and add the earnings to your fund!

My Updates

No Dining Out – Took my daughter to McDonald’s for a Happy Meal and sprang for myself a large Diet Coke. I spent right at $5.

Minniemizing – I’m still hovering right at the 230 mark. I haven’t been able to find the willpower to break thru that number yet.

Declutter – Cleaned under the bed and rearranged stuff so I could fit more under there. My bed is really high and it’s a great place to store some of my stockpile.

Budget Challenge – I’m doing really great with the budget. I have only spent about $15 so far this week. I have to go to the stores tomorrow though.

My Updates

No Dining: No dining out for me today!

Budget Challenge: I spent an hour today balancing the checkbook and making sure all our bills and estimated expenses are set for the next 6 weeks (thru the end of March). It feels so good to know where the money will go before it arrives.

Decluttering: I spent 3 hours today organizing my coupons. Blah. I hate orgainzing coupons. I really do. There I confessed. I wish I enjoyed it but I definitely do not. I do enjoy using them though. ;)

Minniemizing: I found out that my best friend since 2nd grade has some health concerns. I am trying not to stress out and eat my feelings like I tend to do. I went to visit her on Friday and even though she isn’t feeling well, she looks great. She has lost 40 pounds since June (she follows the Biggest Loser diet) and I am so proud of her. I snapped a picture of the 2 of us and she has no idea that I am putting it on my blog for thousands of people to see (I expect a phone call at any minute scolding me). But I am just so proud of her and so blessed to know her. If you could please keep her in your prayers and thoughts this week, I would appreciate it!

I find Medifast to be the easiest diet that I have ever done. I like that I have a cabinet full of specific foods that I can eat, plus there is the one meal that I make myself each day with 1 protein and 3 lean and greens. And while it isn’t budget friendly, it is waist friendly, lol. I am feeling a lot thinner and my self esteem is improving. I am down a total of 29 pounds since September. Woohoo!

And Medifast has a team of nutritionists that you can call whenever you have questions or concerns (this service is provided to everyone that uses Medifast). There is one girl on the team that I talk to everyday. She is so nice and so supportive of my weight loss. It’s great to be able to call in whenever I have questions or if I am heading out to eat and need to know what I can eat somewhere.

Medifast disclosure and details:

Medifast is not cheap. I know that. But being overweight isn’t cheap either. I spent a lot of time debating on if this was something that I wanted to share on my blog. But it all comes down to the fact that I want to get rid of this weight so that I can truly enjoy Disney. And if it is by the support of my amazing readers that I do it once and for all, then I need that. I am not encouraging you to try Medifast nor I am not saying that Medifast is the only or the best way to lose weight. I am just looking for support from my wonderful friends. If you don’t want to support me, please don’t comment. Just skip over the post. As Thumper said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all.” If you don’t want to offer your support or you are looking for support yourself, feel free to comment.

Medifast recently introduced a new customer savings program. If you use the coupon code, DISNEY56, and sign up for Medifast Advantage when you order $250+, you’ll receive 56 free Medifast Meals and free shipping! Medifast Advantage has a lot of perks, including free customizable meals and a free BlenderBottle® with minimum purchase.

*FTC Disclosure: Medifast provides their products for my personal use for free. I am not paid or compensated in any other way for mentioning their products (although I want to shout from the rooftops about my success which you know the results are ‘not typical’). All thoughts and opinions here on my blog are 100% mine. I am very inspired to be given this amazing opportunity, and I want to share my success with all my readers friends. Thank you for reading my blog. It’s because of your tremendous support and encouragement that I was given this opportunity. And that means more to me than words can say.

My Updates

No Dining: Ugh. I had 4 hours of sleep on Saturday night and no caffeine in the house. I ended up at the McDonald’s drive thru and paid $1.75 for a large Diet Coke. It did the trick, but I am seriously annoyed at myself for spending the money. Oh well, it comes out of the grocery budget and Thursday starts a new week of a fresh grocery budget and hopefully making better choices.

Minniemizing: I stuck with my diet yesterday, yay! I am hoping that this week I can kiss the 230′s goodbye. I am working with a new Disney travel agency (look for that announcement tonight) and they are going to help us put together a team for the Disney Princess Half Marathon in 2013 (look for that announcement towards the end of the month). Who’s interested? I was thinking it would be a fun girl’s weekend!

Budget Challenge: This week is challenging with the grocery budget. I have made some not so good choices this week because of a lot of stress and overwhelmed feelings in my life. But I am still on budget, so that’s good. I just didn’t delegate the budget where I wish I had. But I can’t wallow in the bad decisions, not like I can return the stuff I spent it on as I ate it. LOL.

Decluttering: My cousin came over yesterday to help me with some computer stuff (I would rather her do it for me) and I cleaned out 3 bags worth of stockpile into her car. She was really excited.
