My Updates

No Dining Out: Did not go out to eat at all yesterday.

Budget Challenge: Tuesday is the day that our budget resets, so I try not to spend a dime on Monday. And I didn’t.

Declutter Challenge: I’ve decluttered my inbox and that is something!

Minniemizing: I did great sticking with the plan yesterday. Even got in a massive power walk which was great and relaxing. Hoping to drag hubby along with me today.

My Updates

No Dining Out: This weekend was pretty busy and I wanted to do something fun with the kids. So Saturday we went to Chickfila and it ended up costing $14.

Budget Challenge: Sticking with the budget and doing great.  I love knowing exactly how much money I have to spend in all categories. I have my budget together through the first of October.

Declutter Challenge: I finally took my extended family their Christmas presents. It was nice to get those out of my hall closet.

Minniemizing: Yesterday was my grandmother’s 85th birthday and we had her party at a really nice, fancy buffet restaurant. So I didn’t stick with my diet exactly, but I also didn’t over indulge either. It was so good to see her with her hair fixed up and having a good time.

And I am so sorry that this post is late. With my crazy busy weekend, I didn’t have time to put it up.

My Updates

No Dining Out: Hubby picked up his FREE pizza from Domino’s. He got the chicken and bacon and says it was pretty good.

Budget Challenge: Budget is balanced and right on track.

Declutter Challenge: I cleaned off my to do list yesterday. Yay!

Minniemizing: I am sticking with Medifast and doing well. It is that time of the month so of course I am having some whacked out cravings, but Medifast does have brownies and cookies. I just close my eyes and pretend they are good, delicious, fattening version which isn’t that hard since they don’t taste half bad to start with.

I am starting to feel more energetic. And I like this feeling. I don’t want to exchange feeling like this for food.

We are planning our next Disney trip for January of 2013. I plan to be at my goal weight by then (160 pounds; I started Medifast at 260 and have lost about 40 pounds). It is going to be so different touring the parks without the extra weight. I’m excited!

*FTC Disclosure: Medifast provides their products for my personal use for free. I am not paid or compensated in any other way for mentioning their products. All thoughts and opinions here on my blog are 100% mine. I am very inspired to be given this amazing opportunity, and I want to share my success with all my readers friends. Thank you for reading my blog. It’s because of your tremendous support and encouragement that I was given this opportunity. And that means more to me than words can say. (If you decide to give Medifast a try, you can enter the code DISNEY56 when you sign up to save on your purchase.)

My Updates

No Dining Out: No dining out today. In fact, we didn’t spend a dime yesterday.

Budget Challenge: Didn’t spend a dime yesterday and the budget reset.

Declutter Challenge: Cleaned out the bedroom again. I swear my bedroom is a catch all.

Minniemizing: I did great yesterday. I drank over 100 oz of water, went for an awesome, high-intensity walk and burned over 3,000 calories according to the Go Wear Fit arm band that I have.

My Updates

No Dining Out: Well, it was the fundraiser night at Chickfila so we went. I guess I shouldn’t beat myself up since it was for a good cause. Not going to go out to eat again for the next 4 days at least.

Budget Challenge: Sticking with the budget. I need to add up all my receipts today.

Declutter Challenge: Yesterday was such a crazy busy day that I didn’t have time to really do anything.

Minniemizing: I did really good yesterday. I went for a nice walk, drank over 100 oz of water and stayed on plan 100%. Yay!

My Updates

No Dining Out: I found myself at Subway yesterday. My weakness. I spent $8.

Budget Challenge: Sticking with the budget. I need to add up all my receipts today.

Declutter Challenge: I didn’t do anything, lol.

Minniemizing: I found myself in my dark place yesterday. This is what I call the place my mind goes to about once a month (usually when my monthly is starting) when I start missing my sweet baby that I lost in October of 2010. Yesterday was incredibly dark because I found out another member of Jason’s family had lost one of their twins during pregnancy. It brought up a lot of feelings that I had a hard time dealing with and before I knew it, I was dealing with it with food. Being an emotional eater is so tough when you are dieting and trying to lose weight.

I got on my knees this morning and asked God to help me through this week with both my diet and my grief. I also vowed to him that I wouldn’t take a bite of food that wasn’t on the Medifast plan.

And I just downloaded the Couch to 5k App. We are going to put a team together for The Princess Half Marathon next February. Who is interested?

My Updates

No Dining Out: Went out to dinner last night with one of my friends. I spent $15.

Budget Challenge: We are doing really well at making and sticking to the budget. The EEBA app really helps.

Declutter Challenge: I cleaned out the bedroom. Yay!

Minniemizing: I did really well with Medifast this week, which was a struggle since my monthly is about to begin. Luckily Medifast does have brownies so I can eat those and at least satisfy my sweet tooth for a few hours. But what’s great about the plan is that you can eat any of their meals as long as you eat 5 a day. So technically, I could eat 5 brownies if I wanted too (don’t worry, the brownies are fortified with vitamins and nutrients. They aren’t a typical brownie). And then round out the brownie day with a delicious cooked chicken breast with zucchini. Oh how I love zucchini.

I have started walking a mile a day. Sometimes it’s hard getting the walk in with my busy schedule, but I have been trying to make the time even if it means other things in my life have to suffer. I want to run the Princess Half Marathon next February.

We are planning our next Disney trip for January of 2012. I plan to be at my goal weight by then (160 pounds; I started Medifast at 260 and have lost about 40 pounds). It is going to be so different touring the parks without the extra weight. I’m excited!

My Updates

No Dining Out: Had to take my mother in law out for breakfast between her blood work and her doctor’s appointment. We went to Cracker Barrel and ordered eggs and bacon. Bill was right at $16.

Budget Challenge: I need to add up all my receipts again today.

Declutter Challenge: Yesterday was so crazy busy that I only had time to load the dishwasher and pick up the den.

Minniemizing: My monthly is coming, so I am not getting on the scale at all for a week. I stuck to the plan yesterday and had a great day.

My Updates

No Dining Out: Ran through the drive-thru at McDonalds for a Diet Coke and some cookies for the kids. Spent $2.50.

Budget Challenge: Doing great at sticking to our budget and making good financial decisions.

Declutter Challenge: I put up all the groceries I bought yesterday if that counts.

Minniemizing: The scale didn’t budge again this morning but I am not going to be discouraged. I am just going to rebel against the scale and not weigh for a week. Darn thing tricked me this morning as I woke up feeling skinnier than yesterday. Ever have those days?
