How to use Target to “Coupon to Disney”:

This is a list of under $1 deals that are on sale at Target this week. Use it to lower your grocery bill. I set a weekly grocery budget (of say $150) and try to use coupons to spend as little as possible. The difference that is left at the end of the week goes into the fund.

Sunday Coupon Preview – 3 Inserts

There will be a 3 inserts in this Sunday’s paper.

When you are getting started couponing, it can be hard to know how many papers to purchase. I’ve always suggested purchasing at least 4 papers. This is because when items go on sale buy one, get one free you will have enough coupons to get 2 deals.

I have also heard people suggest that you get one paper per person in your household plus an extra paper. So if you have 4 family members, you would buy 5 papers.

There is a new coupon for Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts. This is our favorite breakfast for Disney World. We eat them in the room before we leave.

$1/3 Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts toaster pastries and/or Pop-Tarts mini crisps (zip 30303)

Remember you can print most of these coupons twice by using your back button. Printable coupons are a great way to lower your grocery bill so you can add more to your fund. Be sure to check out all the ways to get coupons and all the available printable coupons.

Disney Movie Rewards: Select Disney Blu-Ray Just $3.95 When You Enter 2 Magic Codes (Reminder)

Disney Movie Rewards is offering a Disney Blu-Ray for just $3.95 when you enter TWO Blu-ray, DVD or CD Magic Codes between now and May 31st, 2012. After you enter the codes, you will see the banner to request your Disney Blu-ray. If you don’t see the banner, you will find it under Member Extras – Special Offers.

After you enter 2 Magic Codes, you can choose one of the following Blu-Rays for $3.95:

Tinker Bell

The Blu-ray will also contain a magic code worth 125 points when it arrives.

Your Fund: Earn Cash Back When You Shop Online

Almost every major retailer on the internet participates in some kind of cash back program. Before you make a purchase, you need to take a minute to go through one of cash back sites so you can get a little extra bang for your buck.

My 2 favorite go to Cash Back sites:

Ebates offers you a percentage of cash back at over 1200 online merchants including Walmart, Target, DisneyStore, Kohls and more. When you join, you can choose between a $5 bonus or a $10 gift card. Just spend $30 or more at a participating retailer within 30 days of joining and you will score your gift card. In order to be eligible for cash back, you will need to go to ebates.com and use their search feature to find the merchant you wish to shop at. Click on the orange Shop Now button and you are on your way to getting cash back.

Ebates pays quarterly and you must have at least $5 in cash back in order to be paid.

ShopAtHome.com works the same way as Ebates. They also offer a percentage of cash back and to receive your cash back you will need to go to ShopAtHome.com and search for the merchant you are shopping at. You will also get a $5 bonus if you make a $20 or more purchase at a participating merchant within the first 30 days of joining.

ShopAtHome.com pays monthly and you must have at least $20 in cash back in order to be paid.

There are many other sites that offer either cash back or an incentive (like points) when you go through their site to shop at popular merchants (Upromise, MyPoints and SwagBucks are just a few examples.

The most important thing to remember is to compare the cash back offerings on all the sites you participate in before you complete your purchase. Sometimes one site is offering more cash back than the other.

How to use this list when shopping at Publix:

My Publix here in Alabama doubles coupons up to 50c. The prices on this reflect that. If your stores do not double coupons, you will need to adjust your totals to reflect that. Visit The Prudent Patron’s under $1 list for stores that do not double.
If the item is on sale buy one, get one free, it will be listed like this on the deal: — B1G1 @ $2.57 — $1.29. That is the price 2 of them costs followed by the price if you buy one. Here in Alabama we can buy just one and pay half price.
