In the 8/29 P&G, there was a coupon for $1 off any Gain dish detergent. Walmart has the 11 oz Gain dish detergent for 97c. But as you know, the coupon will beep and sometimes this frustrates cashiers and they reject your coupon. (They shouldn’t but you know how that goes.)
Walmart also has the 30 oz bottles of Gain dish detergent for $1.75. This is almost 3 times the size of the little bottle! You can use the coupon and pay just 75c a bottle. This might be the best use of the coupon if you only got a few and you go through a lot of dish detergent. Plus you will avoid any beeping with the coupon!
Did you get the $3 Wisk coupon in yesterday’s RedPlum insert? If so, you are going to be able to get some cheap detergent!
Family Dollar has the 32 oz load bottles for $4. With the coupon it’s just $1!
Walmart has the 32 oz bottle for $4.97. With the coupon it’s just $1.97.
Both of those are great prices for laundry detergent and I would stock up on as many as you can. You have until September 26th to use the coupons!
(Thanks Lady Savings!)
We are in the market for a new car seat for my 3 year old and we went to Walmart today to get the Graco Nautilus. The first Walmart had the car seat for $153 but they only had pink. The second Walmart had it in stock but it was $180! That’s a $26 difference! These Walmart stores were only 5 miles apart.
That just goes to show you how much Walmarts can differ in price.

My great friend Courtney just got back from Walmart and let me know that their Artic Zone lunch boxes also have the same offer as the lunch boxes at Target!
The lunch boxes have a coupon booklet and an offer for a 6 month subscription to Parents Magazine inside the box. (Just look for the advertisement tag hanging on the side of the bag.) If you do not wish to receive the Parents magazine, you can write refused on the advertisement and return it with your receipt and you will receive a check for $4.96! (I have done this type of offer in the past.)
Lunch boxes start at just $3! Pick up the cheap lunch box and you’ll make a little profit after the refund!
Here is the current list of coupons found in the lunchboxes:
Booklet #1 (expires 12/31/11):
Capri Sun 100% Juice – $1/1
Yoplait kids yogurt – $1/2
Minute Ride – $1/1

I am on my last book of checks, so it’s time to order some new ones. I checked out all the various check printing companies and discovered that Walmart was the cheapest. My total was $24.00 for 250 checks plus signature verification shipping. Not bad.
If you are interested in order checks from Walmart, just search checks and it will take you to their check printing site. I’ve ordered from them for the past 5 years and never had any issues.
