CVS Releases a Corporate Coupon Policy!

in Posts

CVS just released their corporate wide coupon policy. Be sure to print it and carry it in your binders in case you run into issues at your CVS store.

Here are key points of the policy:

  • In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon, CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item. CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.
  • The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts one third-party manufacturer coupon and applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts valid internet/print at home coupons containing a barcode.

Go here to print your copy of the policy.

Be sure to check out all the current CVS deals. And be sure to learn how CVS can help you “Coupon to Disney”.

Thank goodness because the Skinmate for $1.99 sale this week – using $1.00 off CVS Q and $1.00 M Q resulted in me leaving empty handed on more than one occassion because the cashier would not allow the coupons to be adjusted downwards

@ Denise – I had this exact same problem – I insisted that they could take a CVS coupon AND manufacturer coupon and adjust the MQ to $0.99 but she was all flustered (don’t think she knew how to adjust it down) and did something to make it go through then told me “UGH! If I get talked to about this, I mean you just don’t know, five people got fired for taking coupons they weren’t supposed to!” It was an awful experience and I felt bad for the cashier too – should have had this in hand!

Do you know if their policy is on their website (I tried to find it, but couldn’t). I’m a little leary of printing their policy unless it is directly from their website since it doesn’t look quite legit, if you know what i mean.

I don’t know why, but the adjust down thing just irks me. Yea, I’m still getting the item for free, but they’re going to get that money. If the item is $1 and the q is for $2, (rare I know) they’re going to get $1.08 ($1 of which I consider to be mine).

My CVS would not take my coupon because it was in black and white and the lady said it had to be in color. I will not shop at that CVS any more
