Day 32 of Everyday at Disney took us to the Magic Kingdom. It was cold in the morning so I didn’t want to get to Magic Kingdom until after it had opened. I didn’t want to stand around in the cold! When we got there at 8:30, everyone and their brother was also there parking. By the time we got out of the van and got everything situated, they had already filled up the rest of our row and all of the next row of cars! And it is not like I am that slow.
We decided to skip the tram and walk to the TTC. We were a little further out than usual but it is always good to get in our steps. Since it was cold we took the Monorail on to the Magic Kingdom. It was so crowded when we got there! And once again they only had one side of security open taking in Guests. When we left, they had both sides of security open and no one was coming into the parks. Makes no sense.
We decided to head to Adventureland and ride Aladdin’s Magic Carpets. Adventureland is not usually too busy in the first hour the park is open. After that we went to Big Thunder to use our Fastpass+. The baby loves playing on the small playground under Splash Mountain. It is a great place to wait on your party to get off a ride.
I took the baby on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. She absolutely loves this attraction. She watches everything so intently! Next it was on to Space Mountain and finally The Little Mermaid. We also met up with my friend Kari for a few minutes to say our goodbyes before she went home.
Tidbits
- Tram sign – There is a big yellow removable pole that they use to mark where the tram seating will begin. Make sure you line up between the two poles or you will look stupid when the tram comes and you don’t have a seat.
- Make sure your backup outfit is weather appropriate – Molly Kate’s change of clothes were not appropriate for cold weather. Thankfully I didn’t end up having to change her after she fell on the ground, but I would have had to buy her a new outfit!
- Churros – If you get a Churro with chocolate dipping sauce, do not try to walk and eat it! The sauce is very watery and it sloshed all over Jacob’s pants. Not fun!
