Pirates of the Caribbean is set to reopen on July 24, 2017, at Disneyland Paris. This attraction features never before seen buccaneers and more. This includes updating music to include some from the Pirates of the Caribbean films. “A Pirates Life for Me!” will still continue to be a theme through out. Exclusive to Disneyland Paris is a debut skeletal crew scene with Captain Barbossa. New costumes and Audio-Animatronics figures are also a sight to see.
One scene, which was not included at Disneyland Paris, will also be reimagined at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, California.
The Mercado auction is getting an overhaul. The famous red head pictured above will reappear, however, with a new role. No longer will the auction host a “wench for a bride”. She will instead help with the “unloading” of “valuables” for the townspeople, such as animals.
This last change will also take place for Walt Disney World and Disneyland in similar scenes, effective for Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in 2018.

I’m wondering if all of the political correctness in this world has caused the change. That’s just lame. That scene was classic, a funny depiction of how life was as a pirate.
Smh, Disney.
