Walk Around the World bricks are found among the pathways to the Contemporary & Ticket and Transportation Center at the Entrance of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The program officially ended in the year 2000, with sporadic bricks sold in 2006- 2007. Disney guaranteed guests hexagon brick to remain for 10 years after purchase.
To improve guests experience Disney is adding more bag screening stations, metal detectors and more to enhance entrance. Therefore, the Walk Around the World bricks will be retired, starting with the ones near Magic Kingdom entrance and the Transportation & Ticket Center. Unfortunately, bricks will not be removed individually and were not meant to be returned. However, a commemorative brick may be purchased!
