We dined here on our anniversary trip and it was delicious! They serve a variety of Italian food. We of course got the spaghetti which was amazing. I’d definitely eat here again.

We ate at Tony’s for our honeymoon. We had a downpour right before our reservation time. My husband and I ran in the rain so we would not be late. Needless to say we were soaked when we arrived. It was soooo cold inside! Our waitress saw me shivering with my teeth chattering and brought me a checkered tablecloth to wrap up in. I looked a little silly but it was very thoughtful. They also sprinkled confetti on the table and brought us a complementary desert. The food was very good and the decor was great especially since I love Lady and the Tramp. We will be taking our kids there on our next trip!

So Tony’s Dinner is a decent restaurant. If you like pasta, then you are sure to love this restaurant. I know my sisters were not crazy about the pasta, but enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. My favorite part about the meal was the mickey-shaped ravioli. I thought it was such a clever idea to get kids to want to eat their food. I do however feel they could use a little more variety.

We ate at Tony’s in Jan. 2010. We were there with my entire family (mom, dad, sisters, and our families) We were seated on the front porch and the service and food were excellant! We were able to watch the afternoon parade right from our table and they were the best seats! We also were able to visit with several characters while we waited for our food. The kids enjoyed the kids meals as well! Definitely one to go back to!

I love Lady and the Tramp so I was thrilled to try Tony’s Town Square. I must have hyped it up too in my mind much because I was sadly disappointed.
Kudos:
* Showing the Lady and the Tramp non-stop on a TV in the lounge area. Sorry, but this is a kudo for me. I love this movie
* The Lady and Tramp fountain was also sweet and nice.
* unfortunately that is it for Kudos
Drawbacks:
* Staff/cast members were not very nice, dare I day borderline “rude”
* I felt like the Olive Garden was plopped in the middle of Disney. Nothing against the Olive Garden but when I take a trip to DisneyWorld I expect Disney magic and awesomeness. This restaurant is neither. The plain truth was the food was average.
Summary: I experienced it once. There is no need to ever go back as I think there are far better & memorable restaurants in Disney

We ate at Tony’s in Aug 2010 and we were not impressed. We had reservations but because the line was so long up to the hostess, that we missed our reservation by 4 mins, and they gave away our table! So we had to wait about 20 to 30 mins more for the next open table. It was a little to loud for us and we weren’t thrilled with the service or the food.

We just went to Tony’s in September. This was our first time there. I thought that the food was pretty good as was the service. I wouldn’t consider this a “must do” restaurant. Compared to our other experiences, this one was just average.

My family and I enjoyed Tony’s town square!! It had amazing spaghetti and meatballs and the portions were huge. I was really impressed at the fast service and great view of the evening parade. I would gladly take my family there again. We got good food, great service and excellent entertainment at reasonable prices.

My family really enjoyed this restaurant. We ordered a pizza and a steak. I really wasn’t expecting much from the steak because it is an Italian restaurant, but I should have known better. The steak was incredible and my husband and I kep eating off of one anothers plates! This restaurant did feel a little more formal than some of the others in the park. It’s obviously catering to families because its in the MK so kids are fine but if you wanted a romantic date restaurant I would recommend this one.

Unfortunately this is a second hand review from my sister but I hope it’ll be just as informative. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, great menu options for kids, and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The dessert while very nicely decorated in Disney fashion fell a little short on flavor. A great restaurant to check out for only 1 table service credit and it’s right by main street so schedule about and hour to an hour and half before fireworks!

We enjoyed this restaurant, the service was terrific and very accommodating for our family. We had a sleeping son in the stoller and was able to “park” the stroller right at our table. The portions are plenty and could easily be split.

on this trip to Disney August 2011 we had a grand gathering breakfast at Tony’s it was a plated breakfast with scrambled eggs, a mini Mickey waffle, potatoes sausage and bacon…They did bring out more when we asked. I then had dinner a couple nights later and the food was very good, but I thought that they gave small portions. Our waitress was rude and horrible!

We ate here this past June for lunch and I will never go back. I ate the special which was a lobster scampi with asparagus and sun dried tomatoes, it tasted awful and the smapi sauce seemed like just melted butter with no flavor! My husband had the chicken parm, which he said tasted like canned run of the mill sauce and soggy chicken. The appetizer, garlic bread was really good as was the tiramisu. The lemon walnut cake was dry! If you want really good ITalian food, go to Epcot!

We’ve eaten here 5 -6 times over the last 5 years or so. They have been so gracious as to allow my dd (who 14 but a very picky eater) to choose of the child’s menu since the “plain” food is what she likes. We have found the service to be not only polite but extremely helpful. Several times our waiter has encouraged us to try the “_________ of the day” and we have been very glad when we have, it’s always excellent! We usually do book ADR and have never had to wait more than 10 min or so for our table. Once, on my dd’s 11th bday, our reservations were at 3:15 and we didn’t have a good view of the parade because we were waiting to be called to be seated. One of the Maitre d’s noticed our dilemma and asked to check our reservation for us, When he came back he asked if we would follow him. He lead us out of Tony’s and down the walkway to a “secret” room, Cinderella was waiting for a private chat with my daughter! She talked with dd for about 15 minutes and then spent several more minutes taking pictures with us individually. Next she asked dd if she had seen Giselle yet(dd was carrying a Giselle doll) when dd replied that she hadn’t, Cindy told her to go to Sleepy Hollow Snack stand 15 min before the next parade. We did and got to chat with her before the next parade started– she told dd to make sure and tell Cindy thank you for sending you to visit me!– All because the wait staff was so attentive– the food was awesome too ;)

We have been to Tony’s twice during our Disney visits. This was actually our first restaurant experience during our families first visit at Disney World. It was excellent. The food was great. We had the best server we’ve ever had at any of the Disney restaurants since. Our family was chosen to celebrate an ‘unbirthday’ and given a cake in honor of the occasion. We did have to wait a while before getting a table, but I highly recommend this restaurant.

My daughter and I ate dinner at Tony’s Italian Restaurant in October 2010. I was truly looking forward to this experience because I adore Lady & the Tramp, the theme of this location. I don’t think I could have been more disappointed unless we were made ill. Despite an Advanced Dinner Reservation we waited nearly half an hour for our table in an area ill prepared to accomodate us. The food was bland and lukewarm. We complained to our waiter who said he would speak to the chef. When he returned, he was very condescending and did nothing to make us any happier. It’s the worst meal I have ever had on any Disney property, bar none.

LOVE this restaurant. We go every time we are at Disney. The fountain in the middle of the restaurant is great for young children to watch, and who doesn’t like Italian food? I believe the cooking here is a step up from most resort dining, and especially enjoy the pork tenderloin that they frequently enjoy on the menu. Plus, it is near the entrance so it is easy to come for dinner with a park hopper pass!

Ate here to celebrate a friend’s birthday a few years ago. The entrees were a little more than I wanted to spend, so I had the calamari and it was delicious. Service was great, too. The free birthday dessert was a fun sundae with Mickey head-shaped sprinkles.

We have eaten here 2-3 times and I have mixed feelings about it. The food is sometimes good, and sometimes not so good. I have to maintain a Gluten Free diet and it’s a treat to be able to get gf pasta. Last year when we went we were able to be seated near the porch so we were able to see limited views of the Main Street Electrical Parade. We had requested to be seated on the porch but they were unable to fulfill our request. Children kept walking to the doorway thus blocking the view but the Cast Members did a great job redirecting the traffic to clear the doorway. I will have to say that the hostess that seated us was pretty rude. We have been to WDW 6 times in the past five years and I have never encountered a rude Cast Member except for that hostess. I witnessed her lack of manners with more than one dining party, to the extent that I was embarrassed for her. I hope they have either retrained her or relocated her to another position where she is not in contact with guests. One nice surprise in the restaurant is the window inside where you can see Lady and the Tramp; ask a Cast Member and they can direct you to it if you can’t find it!

We ate at Tony’s during free dining in September. We scheduled our dinner earlier around 4:30 so that we could enjoy the park while other people were eating. The food is Italian cuisine. The food was wonderful. The service was great. We will definitely eat at Tony’s again.

It’s always nice to sit and relax on a hot day. This restaurant is a little out of the way if you aren’t already near, but the food is great. And the atmosphere is magic!
Tracy says
Does anyone know if they serve gluten free pasta or pizza?
Michele says
They serve gluten free pasta AND they have the gluten free tapioca rolls that are GREAT with butter! I’m not sure about the gluten free pizza though.

We ate here 3 years ago. We made lunch reservations, and told them that we were celebrating my daughters 8th birthday. They went above and beyond catering to us, and decorating the table. It really was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the food too, it was very good. We would definitely eat there again.
MICHELE says
We’ve eaten here twice and I have mixed feelings about it. It’s definitely not my favorite but last October we booked our ADR during the Electrical Light Parade and was able to enjoy a limited view of the parade. The cast members did an excellent job in redirecting children and adults who tried to stand in the doorway to watch the parade that were blocking our view. If you can get a seat on the porch it would be even better! The food was okay; nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. My children enjoyed LOOKING IN THE WINDOW TOWARD THE BACK OF THE ROOM; IT HAS A VIEW OF LADY AND THE TRAMP. It’s cute so definitely make sure you ask a cast member if you can’t find it!

We ate here for Father’s Day this year. I didn’t like it at all! We didn’t understand our waiter and the person who led us to our table was snotty. She acted like we were stupid becuase we considered our 10 year old a kid. Then, the food wasn’t even good! Very dissapointing. We later decided to redo the dinner and had the Crystal Palace a few days later which was way better!!!!
Katie says
Oh, also we like the Italian restruant at the Italy pavillion way better if you are choosing a italian place

I’ll preface this by saying it’s been 4 years since we dined at Tony’s… so things may have changed since then. But…
For us, Tony’s was just ok. I chose Tony’s because my family enjoys Italian food and we love Lady and the Tramp. Unfortunately, we’ve had better food at our local Olive Garden than what we had at Tony’s… the most memorable thing about my meal was the salad dressing. Service was extremely slow, as well.
Would we eat here again? Maybe. But as someone stated above, there are lots more places to choose from at WDW that are much better!

My family and I have eaten there twice now. We really like it. My daughter loves Lady and the Tramp, so she loves all the movie artifacts, and my husband and I love the food! This year, we made it a late dinner at 8:45 and asked to sit outside. So, we were 5 feet from the Main Street Electrical Parade. It was a great addition to our trip. We usually change up our restaurants every time we go, but Tony’s has been a trip 2 years in a row! We LOVE it. It has food for everyone!

My wife and I ate there on my birthday several years ago. We had just arrived in Florida, checked in to our hotel on property, and then went to eat. My wife opened her carry on and took out our digital camera. It was broken. No pictures for the birthday dinner right? Wrong, without us saying a word, the server noticed our problem, told her manager and he came back a little while later with the most expensive disposable camera they sell on property. Amazing Disney service. Fun theming, and really good food for a reasonable price, especially since it is at the Magic Kingdom.
JenGC says
I loved it. It was one of the very few restaurants that we really enjoyed. Loved the ambiance and the desert had a stamp of Lady and the Tramp in chocolate. My daughter LOVED it! I highly recommend it!
Wendy says
We ate here because Don “Ducky” Williams told us that we should. The Lady & the Tramp paintings that adorn the restaurant are his best (and personal favorite) works of art. It was great. I remember feeling a little rushed, and it felt a little “theme-parky.” Of course, it’s WDW, so it was pricey… however, I’d go back or recommend it to a friend in a heartbeat.
As we left Tony’s, Gwen Stefani was walking in. :) They parked their stroller outside and it took everything in me to not steal Kingston’s Mickey Mouse ears.
How cool is that? Eat where the stars eat.

We ate at Tony’s Town Square 5 years ago for our 5th wedding anniversary and LOVED it! Upon hearing it was our anniversary, the waiter took the time to decorate our table with ribbons and confetti, brought us a complimentary cake and serenaded us while we ate. They truly go above and beyond. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. We plan on returning for our 10th anniversary this year!

We have reservations to eat here in January with a Grand Gathering – we are going to breakfast…apparently something only Grand Gatherings may do! Guess we shall see!!
Kelly says
Loved it! The small “brass” band came in and played while we ate lunch. Wonderful atmosphere.
Sarah says
We eat at Tony’s everytime we go to WDW! The food is delicious and the service is great. We got to sit on the porch and watch the SpectroMagic parade the last time. It was the best view! I’ve never had a bad meal there!
Nikki Haughey says
Not worth your money. Go to Olive Garden instead. Pick a different restaurant to dine in….there are so many more to choose from that are worth it!
Ashley McLeod says
My husband and I ate here on our honeymoon and it was amazing. Food was perfect, and the service was even better. We didnt have on our “happliy ever after” pins, so we didnt get any special “newlywed” recognition but were still had stellar service. Price is a bit high, but that is to be expected at Disney, especially in the Magic Kingdom. I would however like to add that my husband ordered a seafood dish, and I cant remember if the description indicated how spicy it was (I am sure it probably did..) but it was HOT, so beware of the spicy foods if they are not your thing..Also, they have Lady and the Tramp coloring pages for the kiddies while you wait. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants yummy italian food at MK rather than simply eat the walk up service food.
TKM says
My family loved Tonys as well. The food came close to a nice restaurant quality that you would get somewhere besides Disney.
We dined there when we had gotten the free Disney Dining plan. The grilled pork tenderloin was my favorite, although from their menu, they appear to have changed the sides from when we went. Also, since my husband and I had the dining plan, there was more than enough food for my 2 year old son to eat without having to buy him anything as well. Plus, they brought him a kids fruit juice and light up toy at no charge. If you can, try and get a seat near the fountain in the middle of the restaurant. It will captivate your tired kids and let you enjoy your meal.

We Really enjoyed this dinner. The food was delicious and the staff courteous. They were attentative and acknowledged our celebrations. It’s been several years since we dined here but we would definitely go again!

We love Tony’s! We eat there before MNSSHP and it is good and filling. Believe it or not everyone in our group who ordrerd the steak says it’s one of the best they’ve ever had.

We had a great experience at Tony’s. The food was great and so was the service. It will be one of our must, every time we go!
Lynn says
we ate here several years ago, so the service may have changed, but it was great when we were there. it was also a great place to sit and relax in the middle of a busy day and escape the heat or rain, and a great place to position yourself to watch the afternoon parade. the food was good also.
